I took 9 bags to my local Nationwide only to be told that they accepts 5 bags at a time, there was only 1 other customer behind me so I dropped 5 bags and joined the queu again....it didn't work LOL. They told me 'only 5 bags a day' so I reminded them that there was no one else to serve and that I was a customer and wasn't happy about that so in the end they reluctantly exchanged the remaining 4 bags !!{rolling eyes}}.0

I tell you what I've never understood! You know those machines where you tip all your money in and then they turn it into notes minus 10% or whatever, why don't they have those in banks but don't charge you for it?
Whenever I walk up to the counter with a load of change they always look sooooo moody! Problem solved, plus you don't clog up one cashier for too long either!0 -

My bank will only take £15 worth in any one day.
Luckily, FIL runs a newsagent and PO is, so he takes as many as we can give him!0 -
I've paid £180 in one go into my bank Natwest before with no problems. Had to take it in a rucksack!
JulesThe ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.0 -

I tried not to grin as I bundled it onto the counter. It was nicely bagged up though.
