I just googled them , its a con they are not royal mint , its a way of fooling people into buying more and more expensive coins , they keep sending them with invoices they keep getting more expensive some people are thinking they are making an investment , they have sold £5 coins too , they are worthless unless you live on a small island in the pacific . i got a gold coloured penny for £2.50 , they wont be getting any more money from me , apparently its not legal to demand money for unsolicited goods and they wont send you the money for postage to return coins , so i will tell them to come and collect them . no doubt they will send their collectors to collect them , !! , glad i found out its a con before i pay them any more money .
Anyone know what the next coins will be ?1 -

I get the impression it's the kind of company, 'once you're in, it's very hard to get out again'. Wasn't this company mentioned some time ago on this forum?
I just did a search on this forum entering 'londonmintoffice' and found some interesting posts about this company dating back to 2006.0 -
i got mine recorded delivery in the post today , i sent the invoice back with my credit card details to pay the 2.50 to a freepost address ,
there was no mention of getting other coins sent to me , if they do send any i haven't agreed to it)
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.0 -
when the £2.50 clears at my credit card i'm going to contact them to cancel any future payments to them just incase they deduct any money from me , if they want the coins back they send me they will have to send me the postage , !!!!!! i only ordered the golden penny because i was born in 1967 , it seemed like it was free and was worth £19.95 and it was royal mint but this is what they make you believe .0

And yet 19 people have thanked the OP for this "useful post".
Why do people do this before knowing the full story about a supposed freebie. A lot of people have been sucked into this conning company now.1 -
so far i have recieved a 24 carot gold 1967 penny and paid them £2.50 , i ain't been done yet , a lot of suckers keep buying the more and more expensive coins thinking they are getting a good deal and an investment , most people on here are wise and wont be suckered in , i'm not going to be buying any more from them and if they send me more coins they can come and collect them or send me the post and packaging costs my time as well as a taxi fare and a tip to go to the post office . I'm just wondering which more coins i'm going to get , a bit excited to be honest , i don't feel done0

Have you not read the post below, or a quick google search will tell you other nightmare stories about people trying to leave this company. I can assure it will not be as easy as you simply refusing to send the extra coins back if they wont send you postage. They will simply pass your details to a debting agency. I think "excited" is the last thing you will be feeling soon.manch235ter wrote: »I had something from these in the past.Absolute NIGHTMARE to cancel. They kept sending invoices , and even past my account To a debt collection agency , even though they hadnt sent anything to me. BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!     :eek:0 -
Most of the complains about this company were about the dodgy £5 coin thats legal tender on a small island somewhere and not actually legal tender , they agreed to get other coins sent to them and lots of them paid them more money , lots sent coins back and paid the postage , i have not agreed to recieve any coins , i've only been told on a leaflet i've been selected to be sent coins on approval if they send unsolicited goods to me good thats up to them if they send threats of debt collectors good thats up to them , it won't be a case they'll win in court as they will be contacted by email and the freepost envelope to come and collect them but only after i've recieved a few of the coins , i got a coin 24 carrot gold 1967 penny and paid £2.50 for the postage , they are not going to con me , in fact i think they will be losing out . in fact i'm sure0

ok i was suckered into this too thinking it was a good deal and actually London Mint.
If i send the coin back with 'not known at this address' do you think that may do the trick?0
