Yeowchy! Lets decide never to get inviable either beanie:D

I became invisible when I was around 55 (couple of years ago) and find it does have its advantages!:D It was a little unsettling at first but after some time I found that I quite like it. The trick is to learn how to pop in and out of the "zone" - I can do it with a certain look/glance that I have:cool::rotfl:

    WOW!!!

an enormous fluffy sheep just exploded out of the parcel!! It's a girl sheep because it's got a pink ribbon in it's hair! It's fab! There's also a nice little green spotty notebook that will make a perfect food diary, and a pen to write in it so that I have no excuse not to!

    Thank you DELLY!!!

OOh this is good, almost like Christmas! My parcel is beautifully wrapped in a bright red paper with a pretty red ribbon around it.:j:T Inside was a 2009 Calender which has a place at the top of each month for you to slot in your favourite photograph. I think I will use it as a pictoral history of my 2009 diet efforts. On the 1st of each month I will take a picture of myself and put it on the calender. At the end of the year it should be interesting to see the change from January to December!:j:j:beer:
PLUS - I got a gadget (love my gadgets)! It is a credit card sized light. Took me a minute to figure out what it was but since then I have been trying it out on all sorts of places! :rotfl:Worked good in the freezer which is in a dark corner and does not have an interior light, and will be specially handing unlocking my car in the dark mornings!:T
I still have not figured out who my swapbox sender is but a big thank you to them!

    Love and huggs

OOH, exciting pressies already, I love the sound of the calendar, what a great idea!
I have just opened mine, each thing was individually wrapped in lovely purple and silver shiny paper! I had a packet of brightly coloured flower seeds for my garden :T, 2 pairs of the warmest and softest socks I've ever felt, which will be perfect for me not turning the heating on :rotfl:, a big candle which I'll use when I'm soaking in the bath (great timing as our shower just broke!) and a book on how to feed your family on a fiver a day, very MSE :money:. There was no name on the box so thankyou so much to whoever sent it!
Dashing off to school now to inspire some teenagers about Shakespeare (yeah, right!):D Enjoy opening your boxes everyone, look forward to reading what you got!
ps Vic, noone's going to ring before 9am so go and make yourself a cuppa ;)

    Morning :D

I just told DH I was going to go on line to open my swap box present and got such a funny look! He thinks it's all very childish, but I think it's fun, so here goes...

The parcel is wrapped in brown paper and tied with cotton gift ribbon with little coloured pompoms.... there's a note .... aah it's from Marion ... :) ok, opening it now...

Excellent! I've got a collapsible silicone measuring cup set - how clever, it's all sealed but they've given access to one of them and the measuring part expands, so it changes from a flat, table tennis bat shape, to a cup shape... very space saving, great for the caravan! :D

Thank you Marion, and thanks for the lovely comments in the note.:kisses3:

  • Lois! Cheers for an ace swap box...got up a bit early and picked up the aprcel on the way to the train station:

Was really nice as there was noone else at the station yet (I'd allowed far too much time for post office shennaningans so I sat in the shelter and opened it :D)

I love swap boxes as they do make you feel all special...kinda like xmas and birthdays!

It was beautifully wrapped in pink paper with a blue bow, I got a fab noteboko and an amazingly orange pen than jingles when you write. I got some seeds for my garden including my absolute fave (sweet pea) and some yummy eat natural bars.

    Thankyou!
I have decided to use this swapbox to mark the beginning and a renewed attempt on sorting out stuff inc the old weightloss...so I plan to write a mini traget in my shiny new notebook everyday and see if I can achieved it...today's target is to simply tidy my desk...I'm hoping if I can get other parts of my life organised it'll rub off on everything else! that and writing in the notebook will remind me of lois and the other peeps on this thread which may in turn make me think a little more about what I shove in my gob :p
  • Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

    THANKYOU
