Hello everyone!
Hope you have a good day shopping Victory!
Only you know if 19.9 or lower is the right range for you - it's fairly low for me. My average will work out a bit higher, and I'm 100% happy with that
I look at the BMI in conjunction with Body Fat range (and other things) as well, and I'm slightly "underfat" - not a terrible thing for a sporty person IMO - but if I went any lower on BMI I would either be losing more fat (which I'd rather not do as I'd prefer to stay close to healthy levels), or losing muscle & lean tissue which I also don't want to do as that would make it harder to maintain!
We are having baked potato (singular) for lunch today. In our bag of potatoes there was an enormous 650 gram one which will be a large portion even when halved!!! :rotfl:0 -
Happy to report another 0.8lb gain 12,507 calories. Happy because I weighed myself on Friday too and was 1.6lb lighter. I know the gain is due to the residual weight from a slap up meal I went to on Friday night - there was no way all that weight was going to disappear overnight.
Activities levels are not particularly high for me - as measured by my pedometer:
Saturday 11,550 steps (Christmas shopping)
Sunday unmeasured - duvet day
Monday 5,965
Tuesday 4,600
Wednesday 5,400
Thursday 4,100
Friday 6,300
Missy, I think I would be classified as a numbers nerd

Victory - that's still a net loss of 1lb from your last 2 weigh ins I think? How close are you to your ideal maintain range at the moment?
Looking good FFM! Do you know your stride length to convert those steps into distances? I cover almost exactly 4km every weekday on the 'school walk' and then anything else is extra so I'd be interested to compare.
Must admit I'm nervous about next weigh in. I've done 4 weeks at each of 1200, 1400, 1600 and now 1750 calories/day, and not gained overall on any of them. I would hate to fall at the very last hurdle and get a gain in the final week of 1750!0 -

You might need a man if you really can't get the lid off a pickle jar but otherwise

But I think you probably do beanie. Life on your own can be hard and we're made to form intimate relationships. You know you 'can' live alone, and you know being on your own is better than a lousy relationship, but why shouldn't you want a good man. Any chance of improving your social life so you meet more people? I was on my own for ages . Eventually met my chap at a night class. a few years ago.
Bad day on the wl front peeps. Hormone driven sugar fest:o .
On the plus side, we're planning our first trip away in 4 years. Just one night in Jan but it's a start:jI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
No, there's a little gadgetty thing you can use to break the seal on the pickle jar ... no need for a man there.0

hey all, been ages since ive been on here and im shocked to say these last 2 months have not gone well with my diet, well its been like NO diet really:eek: put on nearly a stone and weighed myself this morning and cant believe how much i have put on!!
you may not remember me as princess pixie, used to be mse kyle, was sick of that name so got it changed:D
so as of today, im not eating between meals, will drink more water and have smaller portions.
How does everyone manage xmas? thats what worrying me, all that tasty stuff is going to be my downfall, and i cant wait til its over and i need to get on with this new regime yet again
as you can see in my sig, i am back to florida in nearly 9 months time and i want to be slimmer this time
also need to start exercising again, got my wii fit, and i found i lost quite a bit of weight by doing the jogging part of that.
anyone got any words of encouragement or tips on how to stay on track this time?:D0 -
Morning
missy still 3lb adrift yes I lost 1lb overall but that is weeks and weeks of waiting then to loose 3lb and the next week gain 2lb, uhm:rolleyes:
pp xmas is a prob but it is all about balance again, smaller portions, keep the water up, the exercise up,just try not to go back for seconds:D
Staying on track? Write a food diary, very eye opening where the cals go eg a mince pie one solitary one has 235 cals and alcohol is very high in cals:rolleyes: whenever you think you are hungry have a glass of water first and wait for a bit, exercise on the wii fit like you say or walk everywhere or whatever keeps the cals vanishing:D plan is my thing, plan the weeks menus, plan what you are going to buy, let in the house, eat and then there are no surprise cal raise, you know exactly how many cals per day you should have or how many points and work to that, if you have a do to go to or a party then cut back on the weekly intake exercise more to counter act that and that limits the damage and you enjoy it guilt free...0
