Lois - what I would do re the chop situation is buy 2 packs and then freeze 3 lots of 2 chops. Though I do recommend using a butcher as we know do and get some very delicious meat. Thats what I do to! I also find I can squeeze more into my freezer by repackaging meat - there is a lot of empty space around those chops!
What do you all want to do re the chart for the rest of the month?
I am happy for you to decide if you want to do the chart next week BB. I will be going to class so I will post my weight here anyway. I will be expecting a gain:o
Next wed is xmas eve. OMG:eek:
Shall we leave the chart now until Jan, or would you like one more on xmas eve and then none on the 31st and re start wed Jan 7th? It doesn't stop you weighing here if you want, whatever we decide, & I'll pick it up but I could carry it over to the following chart. I think in Jan we'll be starting afresh anyway, and I'll ask who want to be in the jan chart IN JAN. There so few of us at the mo, I can easily confirm your current totals but everyone else starts from new or needs to inform me of there current totals.
Hope that makes sense? Perfect sense
If anybody fancies doing the chart in Jan please do let me know:D

Does anyone find life really crap for 2 people? Matt and i wanted hot dogs for dinner, so we had to buy 8 hot dog sausages and 6 long rolls. So its hot dogs for dinner and lunch, its a nightmare!! I think thats why are portion sizes are so big, to not be wasteful. I did make my own goujons from bread that was nigh on going mouldy. I was impressed with myself. I try to not be wasteful but it fails, and guinea pigs only eat so much!
I wouldn't say it was crap but it does create more of a challenge. There are things you can do if you have a freezer - bread freezes well, so some of your long rolls could be frozen to use another day (and half the sausages). I always freeze half a loaf of bread and keep the other half in the fridge as it keeps longer there.
I try not to throw any food away and when I'm shopping I have a menu planned for the week, and a shopping list. I make double quantities of things like bolognese sauce, chilli, stews etc, so I've always got meals in the freezer that just need to be defrosted and reheated.
I'm going to have to change the way I work in the caravan though - no freezer and only a tiny fridge!

I agree with what FFM has said about nothing being off limits, and 'budgeting' the calories however we wish
Pie and chips tonight from the fish and chip shop followed by a mince pie
But I did manage a fast walk at lunch time - hastened by the lack of time but the need for some fresh air along with some peace and quiet.
I'll report the pedometer results when I post my weekly weigh in, but not looking particularly active so far
Not helped by 3 hour meetings - 2 days running, but I probably burn off energy in the stress required to stay focussed and get my points across.

I think a small competition about just how many pencils one can hold is in order. There has to be some kudos in having a very droopy bosom. It's too cold in Grannyland to try it just now but I'll have a go later and let you know.
Mind you, in my Rigby and Pellers (sorry Vix but Debenhams just don't have the stamina) perky is the word.:p0 -
Evening lovely peoples, here's this weeks chart, except I have forgotten to high the SOTW.
However, I declare studentmidwife our sotw and a close 2nd is seren:T . So well done both of you. London - you are so close to reaching the 5lb challenge this month which is impressive at this time of year. SMW has smashed that one of course:j . I would like to personally thank those who have put on several lbs this month so I don't feel on my own:rotfl: .
Special mention to our maintainers FFM, Victory and Missy who have done so well over the course of the year and proved it is possible not to put it all back on:D . Marion continues to steadily chip away at her target and raph, it's been great to follow your consistant journeybthis year:T .
Most of thanks to all for being such a lovely group of peeps, and of course that inlude many not currently on the chart, too numerous to mentionI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

ALso realised I had a couple of presents to do for staff that I won't see again after tomorrow so had to throw those together! Am now just rushing to start and tidy up for the cleaner coming tomorrow!
I'm good with whatever we decide about the chart..... my new years resolution will be to get my weigh in posted on time!
