Lose Weight 23

Hi all
Lovely dog Lesley - what a great colour, and such a shiny coat. Does he act like a blonde? lol
Good luck with the ebaying BB - it's great when the bids start coming in. It's hard to judge what will sell though - some things I've put on have been snapped up on buy it now, and I think I should have asked more. Other things are on at what I think are low prices, and they don't sell. I've sold 53 items, 29 didn't sell, and I've still got 32 active items, half of which have bids. I've got one more item to list - my car  - which will probably go on this weekend. I love my car so I'll be really sad to sell it, and I know I'm not going to get anything like what it's worth to me. I just keep reminding myself that it's for a good cause.
On the weight loss front today was Day One, which says a lot about my lack of motivation recently. Fingers are crossed for a STS tomorrow.
Well done all the losers so far this week.

Thanks lois. Do you have a dealine date for going away, if you are that close to getting rid of your car?I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
BB - good luck with the quest for your cords, I'll keep a lookout if I'm near some shops this week
All good here on first week of 1750I've kept 100 back today, to carry over for tomorrow as I'm hoping to go on a nice long jog. No exercise today, just a short yoga DVD.

STS this week - had a bad chocolate week so am relieved it's a STS.
Good luck with the cord hunting BB - it's a nightmare trying to find something that's not black or brown
Hope you get your ideal job soon Vics- the Feng Shui sounds like it's worth a shot - you never know.
The dog pics were great - cheered me up no end - thanks for posting them :T0 -

Thanks missy & fred: it is so hard - I've searched every where on line and seen pages and pages of black, grey and brown.

Seem to be using totm as an excuse to eat sugar for england. Not excited by prospect of wi tomorrow...
very cute doggy lesley:D
Any one got any suggestions for where i might find some interesting coloured cords (i.e. not brown, black, dark green etc.) Boden have sold out and I am down to one pair of non work warm trousers.
Good luck with the interview Jay. I nearly trained as an OT but life intervened. Had a place to train at northampton - sometimes a bit sad about that.
What about LaRedoute or another European clothing supplier, I can't remember what the German catologue is called. Or Lands End, pricey but fantastic quality, or buy a cream pair and dye them.
The OT training took me long enough to get to, luckily 50%+ of students on my course were 'mature', so I was well placed:rotfl: :rotfl: . Tough course but so worth it:DAnytime;)0 -
go jay!! got a headache tonight. Finding it hard to stay on track with food for no real reason, i'll probably get a nasty shock tomorrow which might help!0

YES!
We're sailing on 29th December, Portsmouth to Caen, then heading south via Nantes, Bordeaux, via the Pyrennees to Barcelona, arriving in La Manga on 6th January, where we're planning to stay for a month as it's the driest bit of Spain in the winter. After that we'll continue along the south coast of Spain, to the Algarve, then north to Lisbon, across to Madrid, then back to the South of France, continuing East to Northern Italy. We're going to take our time, so it could be April by the time we get to Italy. We 'did' Venice, Florence and Rome last September, and although I wasn't that impressed with Florence, I liked the countryside and decided I wanted to go back and spend more time there. We both adored Venice so we'll be paying it another visit so that we can commute via vaporetto again!
It's only 34 days until we go, and we want to fit in a practice run in the UK before then, to be sure we've got everything we'll need. We've also decided we'll move into the caravan before Christmas so that we can really get to work to empty and clean the house. There's still lots to do.
