Hey all :hello: Sounds like you've all got great plans afoot with the hampers - would definitely recommend pound shops/ Home Bargains for bits and pieces, and check out high street chemists as well - I used to work in a Co-op one and we had loads of £1/2 ranges including stuff like Lynx sometimes. I tend to do similar for my parents most years, although I usually wrap everything up separately then give them a bag or box full, so they've got lots of things to open
Talking of presents has just reminded me that I need to go and get something for my mate's birthday, thankfully have got a Waterstones voucher put aside so off to browse books in a bit!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

My kitchen was cleaned overnight. I think the cleaning elves did it
Well I've been up four hours and all I've done is have a bath and wash my hair  OH has taken DS to his parents house for a bit so I can work but I think I am going to get a huge vat of veggie pasta on instead :money: and have some toast, so the cooking smells don't kill me!

I love the hamper idea, might do something like that for my friend's 21st - some novelty items from the year we were born, the no1 single when she was born, umm some childhood choc.... anything else you guys can think of?No longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Well thats it for me as far as work is concerned for today:(
I was putting a throw back on the sofa and went to pick the cushions up from the floor and crunch! My back has "gone off" I couldnt get up off the floor and Mike had to help my up as I was crying in pain:o
I really hope I havent slipped a disc again as I cannot take any time of work as I only started this new job 2 weeks ago.........I had to take 3 months off work last time.....trying to keep moving which helps with the pain.
Please send me positive vibes so that I make a miraculous recovery by tomorrow:oBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
