Ooh, another week gone by, and one more day until I'm on holiday!! *happydances*
Here's my meal plan for the week:
Tonight: Pizza and oven chips
Friday: Invited to a barbecue, so food for free!
Saturday: Having a barbecue for OH's birthday event
Sunday: I shall probably cook leftover burgers and break them up into beans, onions, mushrooms and some barbecue sauce, and serve with some fried potato cubes (to be utterly fancy and resourceful with yet more barbecue )
Monday: I'm not sure yet. I was going to do jacket potatoes with yet more leftovers. We'll see
Tuesday: Out for dinner for OH's birthday
Wednesday: Microwave tomato risotto
Thursday: Chilli con carne, so I can put some in the freezer
Friday: Steak sandwiches (for a luxury)
Hope everyone has a nice week, and I'm enjoying reading the meal plans

Hi Everyone,
What a quick week, I forgot to post yesterday and haven't had a chance to read everyone's mealplans yet.
Stuck to my mealplan last week, I just alternated two of the days meals
Here's this weeks offerings......
THURSDAY - H/m chilli (from freezer) & rice.
FRIDAY - Stew.
SATURDAY - Going to wedding.
SUNDAY - Probably takeaway as we'll probably be hungover  .
MONDAY - Sausages (in freezer), mash, veg & gravy.
TUESDAY - Smoked haddock fishcakes, oven chips & peas.
WEDNESDAY - H/m chicken curry & rice (chicken in freezer).
THURSDAY - H/m spaghetti bolognese (in freezer) & garlic bread.
Keep saying I need to run the freezer down to defrost it, then I see a good bargain & buy it, make & freeze h/m soup or cook something & make extra to freeze .
Have a lovely weekend folks :beer:0 -
Me again ,
I've just finished reading all the posts and I notice alot of you cook sausage casserole.
Can I ask for a recipe, I've made it before & looked up some recipes for it, but they all seem to contain either tinned tomatoes or baked beans.
We like both tinned tomatoes & baked beans, just not in sausage casserole. Would anyone have a recipe that is more sort of gravy based; as this seems to go down better with spuds in our house & tomatoey sauces more with pasta.
Thanks in advance :T :T0 -
