    Cheers hun.

I am now trying to rack my brains on how to make as much cash as possible over next few months.

My heads all muddled up now with my house/baby dilemma.

Me and OH really need to have a sit down chat about things.

Monday evenings probably not the best time though lol.

I have been a bit all over the place the last few days, arguing with my head and heart about home/baby but I have decided I want a home first so I really need to get on with saving/money/making and budgetting.

I get paid Friday and am going to spend this month food shopping at cheaper shops to see if we can cut the budget down a bit more on basics.

Me and Nick are going to sit down at the weekend and do a proper budget.

I was very proud of him yesterday for being MSE.

Hes very much addicted to his xbox 360 (which is great as i am always on here lol) but its been dying for a while, already had it fixed for the red ring of death but this was another issue.

He managed to find a new xbox in our local blockbuster 2nd hand so he traded in lots of dvds and games so it didn't cost him a penny, so hes happy and I am glad he was so MSE :rotfl:

  • Well done on the Xbox trade-in! They aren't cheap, so what a saving! DH is the same... doesn't help that brother-in-law is living with us at the moment, making 2 Xbox geeks. I'm all about Nintendo myself! :D

On a more serious note I'm glad you've come to a conclusion about baby/home. I'm sure you've picked the right choice. Being sensible now will allow you to ENJOY being pregnant without thinking about *every* single penny. Well, that's my argument to myself. :)

Well me and OH were supposed to have a sit down chat today about money/baby/house etc but I have been on here all day and he has been on xbox.

I have made a £5 amazon voucher on bingoport though, hoping to do the same each day until Weds so can claim some more before payout day.

I am also applying for OHs credit file through equifax on a free trial, can't use experian as you have to have a credit card even for the free trial and he doesn't.

I did it online but he has to call up to verify details so hopefully he will do that tomorrow after work.

We have put £4 each of £2 coins in our sealed tin this weekend too so £8 :)

Hes not fully to blame lol, I havent dragged myself off here all day!

I have just entered my meter readings too and we owe £84.77

We were £98.27 in credit but our bill was £183.04! £124.43 of that was gas

Thank god its spring and can go off soon! Also hoping they do not put the DD up again as we pay £49 a month so will be paid in 2 payments.
