Yep at least it gets the ball rolling though,I was hoping the limit would be small though as i know what hes like! I don't think hes gonna let me keep the card, gonna try and get him to use it for petrol mainly.

Onto my moneymaking, I have done my first dooyoo review in nearly a month today, going to do another later too, I only need £8.50 to claim my £50 cheque so should keep at it!

  • WD on the bingoport. When I get close to a target, I just stop winning & it brings my points down again! It's SO annoying.

Glad to hear the moneymaking is doing well! Keep going. x

Well i have claimed a £10 amazon voucher from shopandscan today and also sold £100 worth of clubcard deals for £50 to person who brought the £500 off me a few months ago so thats another £50 for ISA :)

Now just need to get on dooyoo and get closer to that other £50!

Well I should be getting an extra £250 from cashback/dooyoo and that tesco sale this month to go in ISA but my computer monitor is dying, it has been for ages but its getting worse so looks like a spend there!

I have £45 in Amazon vouchers with £10 to come and the monitor I want is currently £109, just really wish I didn't have to spend though as need to save £350 for New York this month too!

But if the monitor dies I will then struggle!

And my hair needs cutting which is another £60.....

Well I gave in on payday and brought a new monitor as it was so worth it as now i don't have to sit here for 15 mins trying to get a picture.

I got a slightly cheaper one than the one i wanted and only spent £46.99 after vouchers so was ok really.

I have just won £49.50 on sun bingo from a cashback offer, just hope i get the winnings ok and have also withdrawn £10 today from TAB :) Put that £10 in ISA already.

If i can somehow find/win another £100 this month the ISA will be back up to £1000.

OH has been told his hours are probably going to be cut at work though due to lack of money :o If he worked 4 days a week, we could manage, just but no less than that. He will have to get a takeaway delivery job or something if it gets too bad!

I hope they dont cut your OH's hours by too much.

Just reporting in as off work today on a long weekend. Back Wednesday at work. At orthodontist tomorrow and seeing friend but not doing much today at all!

Done no money making so far, had a lovely lay in and hoovered downstairs and my stairs.

I have transferred £58.50 into my ISA today as getting that money from Quidco and Greasypalm this week.

Trying to figure out what ISA to go for next tax year, I am a bit too nervous of fixing incase something happens jobwise and need to get at the money but still looks like i can get a better rate than I am on now, its dropped to 2.25% now, 4.25% less than it was when I opened it

I am only £3 away from claiming my £50 dooyoo cheque though. I am hoping to make that today/tomorrow at latest and then hoping they send it quickly.

Also waiting on £80 from TCB too :)

Also OH has started his first day of trying to quit smoking, I am very proud of him for trying, just hope he succeeds. He has managed half a day so far though, has a patch on to help. We went to Boots yesterday and he was moaning about the price of a weeks patches and I said you would spend more on that in cigarettes in 2 days! That shut him up lol!

    Hi lilmiss,

How much is your OH paying for his patch's? My OH tried to stop a while back and if you go to the doctors they give you a perscription for the patches so only cost £7 but i cant remember how many packs that was for, i will ask him later.
