Just a note to say made £17.50 today on Greasypalm, did a Bingo offer and won £15 on my very last game so my £10 cashback plus getting £12.50 cashback :)

I have £27.50 pending from them now as made £15 from a gambling offer a few weeks ago and won on that too so £27.50 pure profit :j

    Hello!

Thanks for all your concerns, the day went ok and I survived the 5 days after just about.

Now things have calmed down I am planning to get back on the MSE bandwagon as went off the rails a little.

Its also one month today until my trip to NY! Getting excited now but also means I am having to save like a crazy lady. Have worked out can save £600 this month and can take out another £400 next payday before we go so will be fine moneywise I hope.

My nan (only grandparent left now!) normally gives me easter money and sometimes holiday spends too so hoping I might get a little to help from her too :)

I desperately need to spend some money on my hair too! Its not been cut for over 3 months now, I am trying to hold off to get it looking nice for New York but I am starting to look a tad trampy now! :p

Also the house deposit is back to £1000 :D Not a lot I know, if we weren't going to NY it would have been over £3000 now :o but anyway!

I have applied for the Halifax Fixed Rate 3% ISA today, just need to post the transfer form tomorrow as my HSBC ISA is 1.75% now.

    Will stop rambling now!

Been doing a little money making today, signed OH up for Jackpotjoy and managed to withdraw £19.82 so £9.82 profit for him after wagering requirements and then £25 quidco.

I then did it via my quidco (changing my email addy on quidco as did an offer to sign up to JPJ for a £50 amazon voucher using my main email ;) ) and didn't win anything but will still make £15 profit from there so £40 up today :)

Shame I didn't win anything that time, I managed to make a good profit on one of the slots which is how I got him a profit, won a full house then gambled all on slots.

£1000 house deposit is still better than £0 house deposit! Well done!

God I have felt lost this weekend.

I will blame the lack of MSE on me playing on jackpotjoy and also the fact they sent me a £5 bonus for both accounts i opened recently.

I managed to win £115 on playing one go on a slot machine with OH's bonus but hes getting £60 as it was his and I am getting £50, I played the remanding bonus and £5.

I won some more today too but with real cash, had £98 to take out at one point giving me a £68 profit as deposited £30 over weekend :o but then I played another £33 of that hoping to win big again (damn slots they had given me 2 £37 lines in about 1 minute!) but hey still made £85 profit this weekend :)

I am not playing any more bingo though for ages as have spent a bit recently that I could have saved. :o

So thats all going towards New York. I will have £550 saved by this weekend and hopefully might get some cash for easter.

I am a bit worried about lack of funds though and don't want to have to pay interest on using my credit card in New York so I have asked the bank for a £250 overdraft to cover me, will close it down once and paid off as overdrafts are a bit of a temptation, my old HSBC one just kept going up and up before I became a good girl but thats the cheapest option really, will cost me £5 in interest but better than credit card fees.

Morning hun and well done on the winnings and big well done for stopping. I found that with the bingo I had very little willpower and would often play a bit more after each win only to lose lol.
