    Hiya,

Had a busy week so no time to post really.

It was the big day on Thursday, my OH's 30th and I got to tell him we are going to New York!

Hes well happy its great, I am so excited that we are going :) Only 10 days now to go!

We should have $1500 for spending out there, OH got given $210 for his birthday too but thats all his to spend on what he wants.

On other money news my ISA has now transferred so thats good. Once we get back from New York I am really going to get back on the savings front.

I have spent £2200ish on the New York trip since January so am sure I can manage to save that in 3 months once we get back although I am going into town and treating myself to a hair cut and dye today (its been 4 months since I had it done, it looks horrid!) and might treat myself to some clothes from Primarni too on the credit card but my next payment won't be due until beginning of June and I will have been paid again by then so can pay that off easy interest free.

I owe £80 on it at the minute and going to pay that off when I am back from New York.

Alliance and Leicester have set my £250 overdraft up so I might end up going into that whilst away as have a couple of DD's going out but its cheaper to use that and take as much cash as possible to NYC.

I am going on a diet when I get back from New York too, my work trousers are starting to get too tight and my weight is creeping up too. So that might save some money on takeaways which I have had a lot of lately! :o

    Morning hun.

I bet OH was dead chuffed with his present and so he should be too lol.

You have done so well on the savings for your trip too :T GO and have a fab time and worry about MSEing when you get back I say.

I am dead jealous as I have always wanted to go to NYC. One day I'll get there lol.

Thanks Retro hun! Only 5 days to go now!

I am in a good mood today as been playing bingoport and redeeming for bonus money last 2 weeks and managed to win £27.01 from Foxy Bingo tonight so thats going in my shiney new ISA once I have it.

Also expecting £72.50 in cashback at beginning of May to go in there too.

Its payday tomorrow and just need to work out how much I can spare for more dollars in New York.

Only 3 sleeps until New York.

Had a little flutter on Tombola and came up £20 profit and have just made £30 profit on St Minver too so £50 made today for ISA.

Would have been £70 but played through some of winnings too.

I am glad it played off though otherwise would be £10 skinter!

Just initiated a transfer in to my ISA from current account, not tried it yet before so will see how quick it happens
