Thats the cure, not the cause. However, the same cure in the case of this thread will most likely be unseen i.e. this stuff will leave you constipated. Ever wonder why Britain has so many anti-constipation products being advertised? Or why bowel cancer has increased? (well thats probably due to things like meat etc too but constipation is no doubt part of it).

I really don't give a !!!!!! (no pun intended) whether anyone takes notice, but I know such products won't help ones health.
  • I bought the Bellini chocolate fountain and used the 25p value chocolate from Asda - it worked a treat. I used about 5 bars I think it was and we all had loads of it throughout the day - we kept it on either heat or pump and heat and it worked lovely all day.
    All credit cards paid off.
    :j
    Catalogue £70
    Catalogue £69

Mortgage 77,647.40 minus approx 30k endowments.

Take each day as it comes - Don't panic - I WILL be mortgage free 1 day.

Did you add anything to the chocolate to thin it like cream or vegetable oil? We used our fountain yesterday with Morrisons value chocolate but it went too thick and didn't flow very well so am going to give it another go but looking for tips to improve it.

The bottom line is that chocloate in moderation will not do you any harm, do you think people have bought these to use every day? We had ours out for the first time today and it went down a treat with everyone, it'll be out again the same time ext year and that's it.

For everyone elseon here who can lighten up and enjoy life, we didn't get ours running pefectly, we used chocloate ordered through firebox and via the link for thei choccy fountian, it was a little too thick but still worked well enough to be used.

We used 'fountain' chocolate from PrezzyBox and it stayed far too thick. At £8.95 it's an expensive experiment! Might try the 25p ASDA blocks next time!

You think I'm being dim? I assure you sir I am not. Just pointing out the obvious factoids. Good day to you.

The only factoid I can see in this thread is that chocolate causes constipation! What is the source of your comment?
  • I bought two from currys but mine doesn`t work even with posh choc while my mates is fine so mine will be going back. So disappointed. It seems to be a fault ith the heater, like it doesnt heat so choc sets and clogs the pump.

We used ours today, with 88gr of dairy milk and 2/4 fl oz oil. It worked a treat, and all the children loved it. Is now cleaned (pain in the bum, but no constipation), and put away probably until next year.

To be honest, I'd've preferred a nice pair of boots. I think it'll go the same way as the juicer and the coffee bean grinder - the back of the cupboard for 3 years until I ebay it.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
  • We bought a chocolate fountain for a friend from Empire Stores (£29.99) between Christmas and Newyear. Was delivered this past Wednesday and was invited to use it last night - OH MY GOD! Chocolate Heaven. She used 1 bar of Asda Cooking Chocolate (300g) and 2 bars of Asda Belgian Chocolate (150g each) and about 1/4 cup of vegetable oil. This was excellent and so much better than ordinary fondues (where the chocolate seems to overheat and thicken). Best thing about it was it only cost £15.00 delivered. Came home and ordered one for ourselves - still in stock and if you have a look at the empire stores code thread you will get codes to use we used £15 off £30 and added some sale underwear for £1.99 to take it over the £30. Also the code that I used twice you get a free 24 pc dinner set but I don't know what that is like as it hasn't arrived yet.
