From a command prompt, type:
ipconfig /release
and then:
ipconfig /renew
If that doesn't fix it, try downloading and running WinsockXPFix.exe0 -

On your PC, go into the router's web configuration and confirm that wireless security is disabled (Low or none), broadcast SSID is on, and Access Control List is disabled or empty. What is the SSID (Network name) set to?
The ipconfig results indicate that you're using the Winbond wireless adapter. In Network Connections, right-click Wireless Network connection, and click Properties. On the General tab, what does it say in the Connect using box? It should have the Winbond adapter there.
On the Wireless Networks tab, make sure that 'Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings' is ticked. In Preferred networks, click your Speedtouch network and click Properties. Post all the settings shown on the Association tab.0 -

If you're saying that the wireless security settings on your laptop are the same as your router (i.e. no security), I'm not sure what to try next.
Turn off Windows firewall and any other firewalls on your laptop.
Try disabling the Winbond wireless adapter and use the Speedtouch 121g adapter instead. Install it using the Home Install wizard on the CD.0 -
