  • I am so gutted. I've emailed about 10 different ryanair email addresses and have now spent £5 on the phone so a (mean) lady, trying to wangle a refund, but nothing..
I will write them a letter. My letters of complaints are good :)
  • i just booked three flights to belfast they were free, charged £24.00 card fee but bargain for 3 return flights.

    THANKS FOR POSTING THIS
  • booking system is down aaaaaaaaaargh
  • no charge if using visa electron to pay!!!

can somebody confirm what it means by no bags to check in? does this meanno luggage at all or no hand luggage???
  • No bags to check in means no bags (i.e. suitcases) for the hold, though I believe you can still take hand luggage on.
  • is there a trick to finding dates/destinations without taxes? everything i've tried comes up with at least £30 tax per person.

can i take luggage (suitcase) on and pay a cost on the day?
  • Any idea what is the best way to pay to cover me in the event of Ryanair failure?? Does Visa Debit cover or it is Credit Cards ?? I'm not saying they will, but i'm a little bit wary what with the current climate - Excel & Zoom airlines both failing and rumors of Alitalia.

Just done a quick cost and my proposed trip comes to £64 inc baggage, some people may think it's not that much to write off when the flights are free, but to me it is.

The bookies odds on RyanAir failing were 100-1, at least as safe as BA. This is among the least likely to fail odds on any mainstream airline.

The reason is that RyanAir are extremely cash rich - so even if they don't make any money, or even lose loads in the next year, it will just come out of their savings account.

So I wouldn't worry about it. And I'm naturally caautious with this kind of thing!
