ahh cheap gamecubes just before christmas and a mad panic on MSE, brings back happy memory of TESCO and Woolworths, about the exact time last year!!!

Majik just went into Currys in Solihull (on the retail park just off junction 4 of the M42) and they still had some in stock, so try there.

I also tried Coventry and also Redditch.

Why do I keep getting a smug smile from the staff and management when I ask at each shop ??? My wife also went to Worcester. Her experience was funny. The guy on the till checked and said he had 2 in stock. He then phoned the guy in the warehouse who immediately told the guy on the till that there were none left ! The guy on the till said " are you absolutely sure of this?" the warehouse guy said yes. Apologies were made. It seems that staff are now aware of this bargain.

Redditch checked for me and there were 6 at PerryBar and 8 at Sutton Coldfield for anyone close there. Hope this helps.

I would say that on ebay they are going for not much more with an extra controller and games too. You would have to weigh up cost .v. condition etc.

Yeah - managed to get one and one only. There was another "on reserve" apparently. And yes - I got smug looks as well form staf when i asked around.
