Hope DS sleeps better for you tonight Lunar. I had my eldest in 2003 just as we were invading Iraq - I used to sit up pretty much all night watching the progress as DD didnt sleep - it was around that time we decided to get Sky!

I live in the bottom of a valley surrounded by beautiful trees that my oh would gladly chop down if we could get a sky signal! we cant have cable, or bt vision, the bb speed is too slow. freeview signal isnt very reliable either. i miss sky plus so much!

Gutted Lunar! Sounds lovely though were you live. I didnt have a computer though when I had my daughter so at least thats some form of sanity x x

i keep my laptop next to my bed and a pile of dvd's at the ready, my oh has bought me a bones and house dvd boxset to see me through. i think it makes him feel better about not getting up too much! he is working though

My e.on rebate cleared when i checked online this morning.£200 of it has come off my egg loan and i have kept the extra £75 for myself! i thik ill use it for a few extra bits i wanted to get at christmas. That means when next months payment 1st dec comes off egg, it will take it below £4000.

My westfield money also arrived in my bank account so that has gone into savings for my DS.

i need to get my sig updated but i just realised how close i am to being sub 15k that feels like a real milestone for some reason.

Ive been out to tesco this morning, spent £106!!!! we have stocked the kitchen though as we had completly run out of loads of things. i am also having about 20 family members over on wednesday to meet the baby so i had to get lotsofbits for that. I also got a few christmas pressies, some more wrapping paper plus loads of nappies and wipes. i will only need fresh things for the rest of the month so i shouldnt have too much more to spend.

ive got a few things listed on ebay this morning as well, with 2 items also finishing tonight. I spent some of yesterday sorting through my christmas decorations, i need to get some new lights for the tree this year so ill see if i can find some with my ebay profits.

off to try and earn a £10 amazon voucher for a book i want to get my friend for christmas.

we should start a freedom from egg challenge, everyone here seems to be saddled with them!

my NSD are only going so well because the pram is so complicated to take out we are hiding inside most days. i never normally manage many a month

In some ways they are good - low interest rates, ability to overpay, which when you compare with other loans about who have front loading interest at 29.9% etc is pretty good. But their admin is shocking and I will be very happy when I have got rid of them for good!

As to Egg, it was a hapy, happy day when I got rid of their loan. (Still got an Egg credit card though. I'm quite happy with that apart from it confuses the system somewhat if you try to overpay at the same time as they're taking the monthly payment)
