Apologies if this has already been mentioned, got a 70th edition Monopoly set today in H+B Moreton for £12.99. It's in a nice silver tin and has got 12 unique hotels and 4 different types of houses! The only thing is the currency is dollars, and all the road signs are places in America, but still pretty cool for the price. (stated RRP - £35)0

all teh hoem bargains (and the quality save) near me currently have marvel legends for £3.99 in the toy section, these are actually adult collector figures (my oh's a geek!) and usually sell for around £12.99 in comic shops. one particular one called 'doombot' series 8 is worth at least doubel your money if you flog ti on ebay and they also make great pressies for geeks!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0

Yep, the Marvel action figures are great- it's the 'Apocaypse' series - saw Wolverine, Maestro, and X-23. No 'Doombot' though. You get a 32 page comic in the pack as well. Also had little wind-up Marvel toys - saw Wolverine, Cyclops, Green Goblin - for 99p. Nice stocking fillers.
Also had a talking soft toy of JoJo (from 'JoJo's Circus on Playhouse Disney) - I've never seen these on sale before anywhere - £5.99.
Lots of different Christmas gift bags for 29p and 59p - same sort of thing in Tesco was nearly a pound.0 -
Various items spotted recently include:
Fairy dress up set (wings and skirt - really cute!) #1.49
Christmas gloworms #3.99
Little Robots Lego sets (large box with smaller box attached) #3.99
Haven't been for a few days, starting to get withdrawal symptoms! And my keyboard has decided to go all Americanized on me, hence the # sign :eek:0 -
Hi
I was in HB in Maghull this morning and they had the talking Bratz dolls for £12.99 (RRP 24.99) and the ice dancing Bratz for £9.99 (RRP £19.99). They had at least 3 different dolls for each, went round the corner to the woolies and they are full price in there!!
JennI hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me saying "You're next". They stopped when I started doing it to them at funerals0 -
Sorry if its already been mentioned, but Home and Bargain are doing cheap art supplies for Christmas. I bought 12 acrillic paints, an easil and canvas for £6. It will make a great stocking filler or even a present on its own. They were also doing brushes for £1.99 and a smaller set for £3.99 which included smaller canvas, six paints and two brushes. Hope this is of help to someone.

hb rugeley had pop art pictures in, block prints of rock singers, 99p each, and had a good choice. thought it might be a good idea for stocking filler for young teen lads?

Burnley have the Bratz ice dancing dolls £9.99 (at the door), the Christmas Gloworms for babies at £3.99, and those JoJo clowns too. They also have a Monopoly World Cup Edition at the door. In food they've got El Paso Fajitas for 25p for 8 (BBE end Nov) and and delicious Nando's Peri Peri relish/dip for 29p instead of about £1.50.0
