It may help someone to know that Home Bargains are now selling genuine Apple accessories such as Ipod docks, belt clips and holders. The docks are going for £6.99 and come in two types - one which just has the line out and connector socket and the other which has both of these and an S video out connector. I think they are designed for colour screen 4th generation ipods. However, I've got a 5th generation video model and it appears to work with it. (Admittedly I have only tried the charging connector so far so maybe the other two sockets don't work with my model.) Looking on the web these things fetch £20 upwards. The belt clips and holders at £2.99 look more like they are for use with a 4th generation Ipod but again mine fits in the holder fine. They all come with Apple User Guide and One Year Warranty booklet. Hope this helps someone.
    Thanks for this!
I was in HB yesterday wondering if my daughters 5th Gen ipod would fit in the 4th Gen stuff .
Will give the belt clip and docking system a try but does anyone know if they sell any cases to fit (5th Gen video system)?
    TIA

  • Mike, they had the kms styling gel @ £1.99 in Gilmoss today, about 8 tubes on the shelf. Couldn't see any spray though :(

    Lots of bargains today including:

Perfectly clear still water - 25p
    Bassetts Liquorice & non-liquorice All-sorts 39p per bag
Walkers crisps, lites & potato heads 49p & 59p per multibag
36 (6x6 sheets) novelty christmas tags made with pom-poms 99p
Simpsons Homer large fridge magnet/bottle opener £3.99
Scooby Doo, Batman & ? colouring sets 99p

    - these are small colouring books with 8 crayons that come in a little carry case. Bought the SD & BM, can't remember what the other character was, Spiderman or Superman maybe? Anyway, the Scooby is really good, great pictures to colour as well as puzzles and even a story across some of the colouring pages. Hubby wants me to go back and get one for him :rotfl: Don't think much of the Batman one though, lots of the pictures are already coloured with black ink.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but my local Home Bargains has childrens sleeping bags for £4.99. There are a number of designs, but it was hard to tell what they all were as they are rolled in tight plastic packaging - I got Dora and Simpsons, but I think the others were Superman, Spiderman, Barbie (definitely), and maybe Spongebob. They are cotton, so I'm not sure how well they will wash, but are proper licensed products not cheap fakes. Would go well with the £4 fleecy blankets.
  • had nivea face stuff for men today all £3.99 its the q10 stuff but various products all with a free face wash i think these are about 8-9 quid normally
