    Have just heard, in Liverpool, a new giant HB is opening in the old Somerfield building on Aigburth road next to Tesco!!
    Another batch of addicts in the making!! ;)

    Also happening in Nantwich, huge Somerfield shut at the start of September, H and B opening mid November. I dont know why it is taking 10 weeks to refurbish the place.

    Sadly no Tesco, not even a little Metro

    You can always guarantee at any H n B that there is always cheap booze.

    Whether is be wine (decent stuff) for £2.99 on or large bottles of larger for 99p.

    Also WKD etc.......

    Afer reading "Busygirls" post I went to the H&B in Salford, really wanted the Disney Cars's floor puzzle but could'nt find it, though lots of other Cars stuff which included Bath Gift sets at £1.99, Large Car's with lollies at 79p, (bought smaller ones at 19p).
    The best bargains were the Power Rangers Mystic pyjamas at £4.99 anyone with a Power Rangers fan will know!

    Just been to my local Quality Save (Home Bargains) and got a Prince Aidan doll, from Barbie 'Magic of Pegasus' for £2.99. They also had Shiver the polar bear and Pegasus the horse soft toys for £2.99. By the tills, near the batteries, were Homebase "2 in 1 Wirefree Door Chime/Alarm"' packs - goes ding-dong when anyone approaches - for 99p. Needs a 9v battery, which I forgot to get.

    they have a Barbie Vanity mirror for £9.99
    Disney Umbrella's for £1.99
    Barbie books for 99p
    Sindey princess video's also 99p

    Perfect for any little girl!

  • Today picked up

    TV wild adventure golf game (plug and play mini golf game with putter and ball you hit which displays shot on your TV- well think that's what you do, going to test it later when DD goes to bed) - £7.99 rrp ~£40 apparently.

    Small MB paperart make your own 3D model thingy for £1.69 ish (rrp £6 or £7).

    Small Trollz (sp?) dolls 99p and some My Little Pony bits for 49p.

    I forgot to say about my bargain - pair of loppers for £3.99 instead of £26.99!!!

    H n B - Leek Staffordshire.

    There was also loads of Tiger Balm for 69p!!!

    Good to rub on those aches and pains!!!

  • I got a fantastic real childs guitar for £9.99, which is excellent - seen the same for £30.00 +, one pressie put away.
    Also had posh Jonathan Crisp crisps 59p large bag
    lots of chocolate Tradecraift cookies for only 39p, and snack pack ginger ones for 10p.

    Have seen those crisps in Northfield, Harborne, Walsall (I don't purposely go to places where there is a HB honest!)

    the flavours look awful though:p

    will have to look out for the cookies for my Christmas food hamper
