Boxes for fairtrade coffee sachets by the entrance to my H.B.
250 sachets in the box 2g of coffee per sachet - £2.99
Thats the same as 5 x 100g jars of coffee and you're unlikely to find them in any supermarket for 60p a jar!
Quality is nice ( I am drinking a cup at the mo) and it's fairtrade too!
Cheap for use at home, very handy for picnics but if you happen to run a B&B
it's got to be a mega bargain for you!

Just back from a shopping trip. Got one of the newspaper headlines boxes for a Chrissy pressie!! They have got some of the fluffy type knitting wool which I know some of us are using to knit scarves for Christmas pressies, its only 49 p a ball. Not much of the fluffy left but lots of other 'trendy' flecky colours.0

Been into HB in Flint and managed to get a Disney/Fisher Price stacker (mickey mouse) for 2.99 should be 9.99. Suitable for 6m up.
Each mickey mouse stack does something slightly different...mirror, rattle, squeaky nose, twisty ears, teether ears etc. Needless to say my BB is more interested in the box!!!
Anyone heard of B & M which is a shop a few doors down very like H B but with more food/sweets and booze...had some great bargains. just wondering whether it was a one off store only?0 -

B & M is a small chain; there's one in Warrington, one in St. Helens I think, & others scattered around the north-west, I gather.
So no, the Flint one isn't a one-off!0 -
springchicken wrote:Also have (a strange one this) a set of original reproduction newspapers in a box from important dates (titanic ,ve day ,man on moon etc) for £1.50 (in Argos for £9.99) .Very informative and a great pressie for someone into their History.
Buy one, leave it until after Christmas and take it to Argos for gift voucher refund? One hundred years from now it won't matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little better because, I was important in the life of a child.0 -
