AFAIK no min spend to buy with card either.

Our local has a £5 minimum, I know this because last week I bought about a zillion things ( slight exaggeration) and it came to exactly £5. Lady said, wow that's lucky or you couldn't have used plastic.

Some HB shops will put a limit of over £5 on cards (usually older stores) and others usually operate an over £1 policy. Oh and FYI the chip and pin machines should be up an running in about a week!
  • They have original Totes socks, gloves, gift sets and loads more at great prices, great to put away for Christmas.

    Fenjal - £1.49 instead of £10.99.

In a nice glass bottle with a bow!!!

I noticed some of this in plastic bottles with a clear plastic sleeve 125ml in Crossgates, Leeds (after reading about them here). The shelf said £1.49 but when I got to the till they were £1.99. The store was closing and couldn't be bothered haggling over £1.50 (3 bottles for xmas presents).

Thanks for pointing out how much they are in Argos. There are 6 in total and it is quite interesting, to read in the original newspaper, how misinformed the media was about the titanic disaster initially. Also can't help but chuckle at the advert for Dixons which lists a branch that is still there (albeit currys.digital now) with cine camera's for £29 17' 6d
