Have had two HB fixes today. My baby daughter will be very pleased with these:

Sassy My First Wallet (includes wallet, money, cards) 99p (should be 5.99).
Strangely enough i had just bought one of these in TKMaxx for 3.99, lets justs say i swiftly returned it to the shop. (suitable for 9 months up)

Also got a Sassy bath toy for 1.45 (includes a little tub with a sucker to stick to the bath, turtle, octopus and something else) although could only find one of these and no evidence of there being anymore.

I hope they get somemore of these as they seem to be good quality toys!

    New store requirements

Home Bargains are hungry for new stores meeting the following criteria:-

High street, shopping centre or out of centre quality value retail parks [require open a1 consent with the ability to retail an element of non-perishable foodstuffs] north of england, midlands and wales

Cities, towns and suburbs with a catchment of no less than 30,000

Ground floor slab 7,000 – 12,000 square foot

    Freehold, leasehold and development opportunities

    Corporate transactions considered

    Introductory fees to non-retained agents

Well that rules out getting any stores down south then

Went into HB this morning and amongst usual chocolates etc I bought 2 MB Creation Paper Art sets, one is a puppy, the other a kitten. These make ideal stocking fillers at £1.59 each! (should be £5.99). The also had one of a cobra.

    See here for an example:

They also had some lovely white kitten pencil cases for 69p, these are made of fur and have a padded cats head with a jewelled collar on the front. The zip has a cute fur tail attached and the inside is silk lined. I would say these would sell for about £3.99+ in other shops.
  • Today bought Dreamstreet copy and colour book 19p each, ideal for the shoebox appeal, lots of other dreamstreet stuff really cheap.

You know I never thought of the shoebox appeal. Brilliant, thanks for the idea, shall go back tomorrow and get a few pounds worth of stuff to put in there. I will probaly fill it for £3.

    Ta!
  • Your welcome but remember no chocolate allowed, shame given the price of it in HB and the sweets must have a use by date of at least march 07
