Glad it is being sorted, my posts merely stated that the system has the capability to do all of the above that you had been told could not be. This is therefore not a crooked system but inadequate training on staff members, totally different IMHO.
  • Sadly if something is crooked, its always the people pulling the strings that are the crooks, Omen. The system and indeed the training, or lack of it, are of course just a convenient excuse.

I believe in credit where it is due, and debit too.

This shower have actually failed to make anything happen in the last week.

So once again I shall have to call them and remind me that currently it still looks like they are intent on stealing my money despite the hot air that tempted me to write that I now believed they actually cared. How silly of me to have imagined that hings may have changed for the better

The OP needs to get out of his own backside.....regardless of who is in the right or wrong I hope TfL keep your money...if I worked for them and had the misfortune to cross your path I'd go out of my way to annoy you.

You don't deserve help with the self righteous attitude you have so clearly demonstrated above.

I agree totally with omen666s comment above.
  • This system is not crooked at all... In complaint dealing just take your time with them and stay calm and dont go looking so deep into things before you even call them... If you stop preaching stuff at these ops and given the chance to help you then things would be better... The only time I had a prob was when my card broke I got a new one with a new deposit but when I had the chance to go to an underground station I got it transferred in seconds!! Not floored at all!! My advice to you is let them attempt to resolve things 1st with out going in defensive and aggressive!

Ive been an avid reader of these forums for months and only today I joined because I had enough of you running companies down before you had given the chance to resolve things from the sounds of it (yes thats the impression I get from your posts).. Do you come on here to get opinions or advice!?! If so respect what others are saying to you if you dont like what you get back then don't bother posting!!!
I like to think I can help but its for discussion purposes only so if I get it wrong please feel free to correct me.

The companies I criticise here on MSE do not deserve a moment longer to consider how they will rectify things.

You obviously belong to a generation with a limited outlook (UK only I imagine) that has no idea what proper customer service looks like and has therefore never practised it in business.

So don't come on here lecturing me with puerile views based on thin air.

For the record TFL Oystercard have done absolutely nothing since I last spoke to them which makes them total idiots since they told me what they would do and then just failed to do it.

I will slam my complaint back down in their faces again at a time to suit me, thanks.
