i suspect chosen hotel and dates. some of the more remote 'developing country' hotels will have very low uptakes, so the odds will depend on your hotel choice.

Ps. I don't think anyone got any rooms from this site. Just my opinion but the folk that left messages just sounded very dubious to me.

You might not be missing that much as they will probably be giving one of their cheaper rooms anyway. I have stayed in one of the lhw hotels in Venice and the room was nice but the aircon didn't work properly, the bath still had glass ring marks along the edge from a previous guest, only one bathrobe and the staff were exceptionally snooty unless tipped heavily.
I would appreciate if anyone did get a room to give us a little more detail. I am just not convinced that all the rooms were sold as the people on this site usually do well on these type of promotions.
