I get so angry when this happens with Clarks. My daughter is a size 5 F went a fortnight ago and was told shes a 5 1/2 G, then I went a week later to be told she is 51/2 F and then Saturday to be told she is 5F (so she doesnt need a new pair). Either my daughter has feet which grow and shrink in length and width or its a matter of who measures your childs feet!

The reason I got her measured so many times is so I could get the actual measurement for when the sale starts and also because I had the same problem before when buying her current shoes!

We pay this much for the right fitting and quality shoes and cant rely on the measurements given!

moved to Shop but don't drop as there is already a thread on this and they can be merged :)
  • Today I bought my daughter's first pair of cruising shoes, after finding this link. Yes, they were not in the sale, however I bought them anyway... found out she's a 3H (the shock, horror) - which is probably why quite a lot of store bought shoes dont fit her recently (shes almost 11 months)

  • Has anyone been to the clarkes shop in Trafford Centre in Manchester...???

If so what is the sale like there...... any huge discounts. or half price discounts on any childrens and womens shoes... thinking of going this weekend.

My local shop is dissappointing... around £5 - £10 off at most.... and no childrens shoes in the sale!!!

Went to another which is in the Mothercare world area... this only has childrens... but cannot find any girls 13, 13 1/2 ... or even size 1..... are there only selected sizes available on sale or what!!

  • and that is why i like clarke Quackers, i bought 3 pairs in the summer sale all slightly different sizes but all checked by the helpful harrassed sales boy, but he did not rush us and all fitted perfectly better than buying off the peg elsewhere and getting he wrong fit :rudolf:
