Hi folks,
Well I had a big sort out last night and my debt now stands at 24k, even higher than when I had my lightbulb moment. To be fair, the holiday has only added about 1k on to the debt as I had saved up most of the money and put money towards it from matched betting and stuff.
Oh well, just have to dig in. I know I can do it, I have done it before.
To make matters worse my fridge freezer finally died at the weekend, so I had to order another one last night.
Anyway last night I managed to have a look at switching my credit card as the 0% interest period has ran out on one of them.
Just got to get frugal again.
Beans on toast anyone :rotfl::rotfl:

Actually slightly miscalculated on the holiday, I spent 2k on my card
Oh well I did have a great time and I am glad you all liked my blog

Hi Folks,
Well the first few days back at work have been strangely good. I think I am still on a high after my backpacking excursion. I don't know how long it will last, but I find myself looking at things in a different way since being back. I feel more grateful for what I have, and the chances I have been given. I think to be fair, I started to feel this way after reading some of 'Firewalkers' enlightening diary. Also after reading 'The Secret' I find I am more grateful for the things in my life and don't look at the negatives in everything as much now. Thank you Firewalker.
I think, if I am being honest, I had gotten into a rut before I went on my travels and my journey was exactly what I needed. Will it be a life changing experience? Who knows, only time will tell.
One thing is for certain, I am so glad I plucked up the courage to go.

Hi folks,
Well I managed to fix my shower last night, so that was good. It is almost the weekend, and I am just about managing without a fridge freezer, but I have to eat lots of tinned food :rotfl:
Managed another 50p and 10p on the scratchcards last night.
I am back to badminton tonight, looking forward to it. I also managed to sort out the Paris section of my photo's last night from my travels. I managed to chop them down from 140 to 70!!!!! lol
I have put them on facebook.
Anyway off to a meeting now.

Glad you had a great time MF and that the experiences will stay with you forever. You work really hard and have been a brilliant :money:person, so you really deserved your break.Overpay!0 -
Hi folks,
Well I went back to badminton this evening and feel alot fitter for going. lol
The league season starts soon, so need to get back into shape.
Poorbutrich - Thanks for the comments. Hope you are good, not heard from you for awhile.
Well managed to win another 1x10p and 1x20p on the scratchcards tonight.
Off to bed now, I have quite a busy weekend ahead. After sorting out my acccounts the other day, I now need to shift debt to interest free cards, as the 0% periods are coming to an end. I also need to cancel a few other things.
Hopefully, I am going to get back into the decorating this weekend as well, so it is all hands on deck again. lol
Catch you later guys

Morning all,
Well the first week back at work is almost complete and I must say it has not been too bad. Also it has gone so quickly. This may sound sad but I am actually looking forward to getting stuck into some debt busting at the weekend and a bit of batch cooking and doing my eating plans. Also looking forward to getting a bit of decorating done.

Hi MF,
read some of your travel blog - and will keep reading later (after doing some work). Are you sure you have the heart of a scieitst? You seem like a writer to me. But then, they are not mutually exclusive some times...
Keep writing - and good luck with the debt busting.
Remember? Happiness is doing the job you love.

Hi firewalker,
Thanks!!! To be fair I have always wanted to write a fiction book, but never really had the confidence.
