    Morning all,

Well I had a good weekend. Went to the cinema on friday night, saturday I managed to get quite a bit of gardening done and washing, as it was such a lovely day. Then sunday, I managed to get to the tip and do some food shopping.

I also managed to get some bills paid and plan more of my backpack around europe. I think I have pretty much got my route sorted now.

I am off to Paris for two nights, then to switzerland and a place called lausanne for 1 night, then onto Zermatt for two nights, then onto St Moritz via the Glacier Express for 1 night. Then I will go to Milan via Zurich for two nights. Then I am off to santa margherita ligure for my friends wedding for two nights. Then I will go to Zurich for two nights, before heading to Salzberg for two nights. Then I am off to verona and then Venice for three nights, before heading back to Paris and London via the Eurostar.

Think I might need another holiday to recover.

Anyway managed another NSD yesterday, so that takes my total to 2/15 for June.

Also managed 3x10p on the scratchcards.

    Well bye for now folks.

    Hi folks,

Managed another NSD today, so that takes me to 3/15.

I went to the gym tonight, as I have not been for awhile. It was a good workout.

I was hoping to do a little bit in the garden as well, but the weather put pay to that. lol

Mf - you holiday plans sound fantastic. It is one of my "things to do before I die" to go on the Glacier Express - please let us know all about your trip when you get back.

    Hi folks,

Sorry I have not been on for awhile, been slightly distracted by the world cup and planning my holiday :j

Hi Mrs Porridge, thanks for the comments, I cant wait for my holiday and I am so looking forward to the glacier express. Dont worry I am going to take lots of pictures.

On the debt paying and money saving, not been doing a great deal lately as been trying to save my money for the holiday, once I come back though it will be all hands on deck again.

  • Hi folks,

Not posted for a while. I think it is safe to say I have been neglecting my MSE time, I have let it slip. I have been really busy getting my holiday sorted and have been overspending big time. Hopefully when I come back from my holiday I can get back into gear.

    Hi folks,

Well last night was productive. After work I managed to get all my mini-toiletries, washbag and travel towel for my holiday.

I have a few more bits to get tonight, like a camera and I need to get a new suit as I am going to a wedding in italy during my traveling.

Anyway 7 more sleeps to go and then Europe here we come :j

Anyway got back into the scratchcards today. 2x10p, but it all helps.

  • Hi Folks,

Well I have re-done, my accounts and it is not looking good, my total debt now stands at ~£17K, so I have managed to get more into debt. That will also go up by about another £1500 with hotel bookings for when I am on holiday.

Feeling a bit down, I really needed this holiday as I have not had a holiday for over three years. However, as soon as I get back I really need to get back into gear.

    Morning folks,

Decided I have got to stay positive, I know I can do it as I did it before so well. I will pay off these debts, but once I have my holiday. :j:j

Anyway I managed to get a camera last night so I can take lots of nice pictures on holiday. Got to get a suit now, not an expensive one, as I will need to take it with me as my friend is getting married in Italy while I am out there.

Anyway made another 2x10p on the scratchcards today, every little helps

    Take care

    Hi folks,

I have been reading a book called 'The Secret' last night and today. To be honest I only recently heard about it via Firewalker's diary. It is certainly interesting. Has anybody heard of it, or read it?

Fairly busy day in work today, just trying to get finished as Friday is my last day before I jet off, or should I say train off to europe next Tuesday. I am going to paris for two nights, then onto Lausanne for one night, then onto Zermatt for two nights, before heading to St moritz for 1 night via the Glacier express. I am so looking forward to the Glacier express. Then I am off to Milan for two nights via Zurich. Then I go to santa margherita Ligure in Italy for two nights as my friend is getting married. Then up to zurich for two nights, then salzberg for two nights and then venice for three nights before getting the night sleeper train back to paris and the eurostar back home.
