There was also thunder and lightening. I also had a power cut, about 10:30pm, but fortunately it was only brief.

Well I seem to be getting back on track with the meals per day. I made a lovely soup last night. Tomato and red lentil soup. It had bacon in as well and was lovely. Only costs 51p per portion. I got the recipe out of the 'How to feed your whole family a healthy, balanced diet with very little money......." by Gill Holcombe. I really recommend this book it awesome for everyday healthy cheap meals.
Anyway spenr £2 at my weight-in today. I have put on 2.5 lbs.:mad::mad:
I suppose I should not be surprised, what with the take aways and stuff. Anyway went for a jog after work, need to get back on track.

Hi Folks,
Sorry I have not been on for a few days, I have been home to my parents and to see my girlfriend. Had a great weekend and the weather was good.
Did not spend too much money, which is always a bonus.
Well I hope everybody is ok, I will get up to date with my diary later on tonight and tommorow morning. I am currently working shifts at the moment. It is my first one tonight 2-10pm.
Well take care

Hi Money Fritter, I haven't been on much really and not had alot of time to post but thought I'd nip in quickly to say hi :hello:
Nice to see you're getting back on track with your meals coz you always do so well with them, I'm going to have a look for that book you said you use for cheap meals.
Not long to go until football season and I'm guessing you'll be able to get a fair bit of MB done then??
Glad you had a good weekend with your parents and girlfriend. My Dad's coming home next weekend and I really really can't wait to see him :j:j
Are you still doing your flylady cleaning?Initial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80
Debt now Jan 2021 - £6,208.21

Hi Bowski,
How are things? Hope you have a good time with your dad next weekend.
With respect to the book, it is really good. I think somebody mentioned it on here or the old style forum. I looked on Amazon and read a few reviews about it. Apparently, the book came out just before christmas, and was out selling all the celeb chef books. It has been written by a normal mum. No fancy ingredients or anything. It even details pack lunch ideas for kids and stuff. So far I have made the DIY pasta sauce, the chilli con carne (which I had for my tea tonight :rotfl:) and the tomato and red lentil soup.
It is well worth the investment.
Yes I am afraid the matched betting has dried up at the moment. I have a couple of small reload bets to do this week, but that is about it. I have had no more amazon sales, maybe I have my prices too high. Greedy!!!!!!:rotfl:
I did the flylady cleaning last week as well, but have not done any this week, it is really good, but with being anyway at the weekend, I have not done anything yet.
Take care

Hi Folks,
Well it is official. I need to stop drinking beer and wine and eating chinese.
But apart from that I am perfectly healthy.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I put on 2lbs this week, really must try harder.
Take care
