Well folks, I resisted the chocolate. lol

I am finally home from work. My eating plan says cauliflower and brocolli chesse tonight, but I dont really fancy that. So I think I am going to have oven fish and home made chilli wedges/chips. I have never made home made chips before, especially chilli ones. So fingers crossed.

I am quite excited this evening. I am treating my new girlfriend to a concert next wednesday evening. I am taking her to see boyzone, as she has been a fan for years. I got home from work and the tickets have arrived. :j:j:j:j

Well best !!!!!! off and see how the chips are getting on. Then I have lots of stuff to do.

    Take care

    2) Match betting -Completed

    3) Amazon Books (if it kills me I have to put at least one book on tonight). - Completed

    4) Active my new credit card (it arrived today) so I can do a balance transfer for 0% for 15 months. :j -Completed

    5) Make lunch for tommorow

    6) Menu plan for next week - Completed

    7) If I have time sort out some paper work and shred some stuff.

Oh busy busy busy Money Fritter!! Firstly well done for losing at your diet club this week and well done for resisting chocolate :T how did you manage that  I'm on my 4th good day this week (diet wise not money) so I'm impressed with myself, I reckon 4 days must be a personal best for me!:D

Yay to going to a gig and the new girlfriend... firstly how lucky is she! (I soooo need a boyfriend to pay for gigs:p) secondly...you didn't take long did ya;) good on ya though and best of luck... feel free to pass on any dating tips to us that cannot find anyone.
Talking of gigs I've managed to bag myself a ticket to watch Kings of Leon in a couple of weeks, I dont have to pay for the ticket but I am taxi so I just have to pay for petrol.... very MSE me thinks considering ticket cost £55 and it'll cost £30 at the most for petrol...:j

Erm.... I'm going for you NOT putting any books on amazon tonight haha...Although life is full of suprises

I'm off to read DD's book before she goes to bed. I'm thinking of having an early night with a book myself as my laptops been send away to be fixed,I stood on it and shattered the screen  But for what I weigh I'm lucky I didn't snap the thing in half lol I can't be doing with sitting at the comp for as many hours as I can sit with the laptop.

    Hi Bowski,

Life is full of surprises, I did not expect to meet anybody this soon. We actually met on facebook. lol. I actually already knew her from a long time ago. Maybe sometimes, things happen for a reason.

Anyway I am sure you will meet someobody. Things have a habit of happening when you least expect them.

As for The kings of leon, I just have one thing to say, you jammy !!!!!! :rotfl:. I love them, I have all the albums. I tried to get tickets ages ago but they were all sold out. Well I hope you have a great time.

As for the diet well done. My two main temptations are choc and sausage or bacon buns. But I am resisting this week.

Anyway enjoy your bedtime story, I love stories and reading. My new girlfriend has a four year old daughter, who is easy and fun to get on with, how old is year daughter.

    Take care

My daughter is 10. We didn't end up reading because we had 4music on and we ended up dancing instead, it was more fun than reading but I'm just glad nobody could see us as neither of us can dance :o

Oddly enough I met my last fella on facebook! I didn't know him though, it was through one of those flirt things but I definately wasn't looking. I'm not now to be honest but I would like some kind of love interest haha! That's good you get on with her daughter, kids are brill at that age. Well most of them anyways!! I'm sure you's will all have loadsa fun together

As for everything happens for a reason. You're so right :A I live by that saying!

I'm totally with you on the sausage/bacon bun thing... but guess who works in a sandwich shop! Yes me!:mad: It's soooooo hard. They smell so good and look it too. Can you imagine making them, smelling them :drool:and managing not to eat them  And even worse we do cakes and pies too... I don;t know how I cope haha!

Was I right with the Amazon thing?????? lol

I think I'll give you a break about that one because you're doing seriously fab with everything else. I don't know how you do it, but you do! :T

My meals for today were as follows:-

    Snack 1:- Carrot Sticks=7.25p
Lunch:- Cous-Cous, Tomato, Cucumber, 1/2 pepper, sausage, apple=96p
    Snack 2:- Brazil Nuts(6), banana=35p
    Tea:- potatoes, oven fish, 2 x bread=79p

Total for the day £2.47

Slightly over for todays meals, but was well under yesterday, so overall not to bad.

No extra spends today, which was good. My tea tonight was a change to my plan as I just fancied something nice, like fish and chips, but did not want to go to the chippy. So I made home made chilli chips and had oven fish aswell. I would defo have it again it was nice.

    2) June Grocery Challenge 1.gif

    Nothing to report or spend

    3) Loose change

    Nothing to report

    4) NSD Challenge

Had a NSD today taking my total for June to 7 :T

    5) PAD challenge

PAD £1.00 towards my visa card.

Scratchcards - 10p today. (get rich quick scheme) :rotfl:

So that is it for Thursday

I also recieved my new credit card today. So activated it and balance transfered existing amounts to it for 0% for 15 months. :j

Also finally got around to putting a couple of books on Amazon. I am going to try and put a couple on each night, as I have so many, most of them are text books or non-fiction that are brand new and have never been read.

Done my meal plan for next week, quite a short one as I am back home at the parents from wednesday until sunday, so hopefully that will save me some money. I will put the plan up tommorow.

And finally did some ironing tonight, so now ready to collapse into bed

So overall not a bad days work.

    Good morning everybody,

Currently got five minutes in work on my break, so thought I would say hello.

My alarm decided not to work this morning for the second day in a row. I thought that all that snooze button pressing must have taken its toll:rotfl:

However, on closer inspection I noticed I had knock the volume control to off. The perfect permanent snooze control :rotfl:

Anyway I am in work sitting at my desk and I am starving. I had my porridge this morning but I am still hungry. I was really tempted to go over to the canteen and get a sausage bun, but my will power prevailed and I had a banana that I brought in. :j Defo not as tasty though.

Anyway really pleased I finally got some books on amazon last night, even if it was only 2.

Hoping to put some more on tonight. Not out tonight so a cheap night in with a DVD me thinks.

Might try and get some surveys done tonight, as no more matched betting until the weekend I think, but you never know.

    Anyway take care

    Hi MrsP,

    Thanks for the support.

I know you are meant to start at the begining of the year, for the 4k Year challenge, but I missed the boat, and I needed to do something drastic to get back on track. Hopefully it will work. Fingers crossed.

As for a bad patch, I know the feeling. I was the same a few months ago. I started putting things on my visa card again. But I am getting back on track again now.
