matched betting was a bit scary at first. i've only been doing it for about 10 days, so it is still a bit scary really!

i started off with a £10 bet at william hill and now i'm working on the £25 deals. currently, i'm moving money around all over the place - i want to keep track of every penny, so i've been moving money into betfair and then moving it back when each bet settles. my bank account looks a mess! but i know where all my pennies are. when i can afford to put more money in betfair, i'll be able to start doing the bigger free bet deals.

the maths hurts my head. my boyfriend wants me to show him how to do it at the weekend.. i think i'm going to give us both a headache!

definitely worth it though - it's £80ish i wouldn't have had otherwise. i'm hoping to make a lot more between now and christmas.

there are a few bookies i can't join though, because i already have accounts with the bingo part of their company :(

Thanks BB, may have to try and get some listed, although have a wedding in Brighton at the weekend...is auctiva (is that what it's called) free?
Auctiva is free and you can schedule ahead i.e: set up the whole ad and then set to go live at what ever time/day you choose in the future. Ideal for the weekend. I hope to get more done tomorrow and then set them to go live at the weekend. Well those I want to start at 99p or less. Mind you my ebay listed costs for the 3 I've done are only 15p so I know every ppenny counts but not at the price of the pressure if I don't feel up to it.

In Brighton for long bails? Where's the wedding happening?
Now that I am an official training, I can see next year I might finally be driven down the matched betting route so it sounds like I need to be careful what bingo sites I might sign up for?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

  • Hi everyone.

Everyone is really doing well. My total was looking a bit pitiful, but now I've added in the tax back it doesn't look so bad - behind target still, but I think some surveys and other things will pay out before Christmas, so my total to date is £112.17.

I moved the things to ebay out of the cupboard and into the living room to try to motivate me to actually list them - it hasn't worked so far, just have a cluttered living room! But looking at them everyday and a cheap listing day at the weekend might just be enough to make me do it.

  • My day 20 total was either 189.78 uncleared or 69.40 uncleared

and I have sold two books on Green met - so that is 7 quid I think.

    only 78 days to go?

must e bay over the Weekend race you all to 50 items :)

    xx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Morning everyone, I've ordered a £10 boots voucher from consumer pulse so I'll add that to my total. I'm not accumulating much at the moment but hopefully I'll be able to list more on etsy soon so it will improve.

I really want to get into matched betting but I'm scared!
    Finally bought a home

  • Hello all
Cheers to everyone who mentioned free listing weekend on ebay - am getting together with my mum today so we'll have a big sort out and get some things listed. Also had a £90 payment for proofreading this morning so have to get busy doing that by Friday [Only 6000 words but luckily the student wanted a quick service so more £££ which is good for me].
Fingers crossed for some more money making for everyone today.
Also completely off topic but I have to say I'm sooooooo excited - they finally started filming the xmas special of Gavin and Stacey in Barry [where I live] yesterday - will now be on a mission to find them filming again over the next few weeks.
Not sure if any of you watch it but if you're welsh it is sooo funny and really I think it's funny even if you're not!
