I'm not questioning why you suggested that, - I'm agreeing with you ;) There will be alot of people on MSE who have dyslexia who will struggle with spelling.

Did you know that firefox (a browser, like internet explorer) has an inbuilt spell checker for things like forums. Just thought that you might be interested if you didn't already know and use a few forums.
If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!

Thank you all for the feedback

This is something we take seriously. And will be looking at many of the comments.

Unfortunatley a few of them are unspecific.

IF you've commented above would you mind specifying whether you are talking about

    a. The forum
    b. The email
    c. The main site home page
    d. Main site articles
    e. Main site section pages

As the nature of the site means they all have different formatting.

    Martin :)
Should you upgrade one part of the site for disabilities, would it not be viaable to include it to each section of the site?

It would be interesting to include a Thread in the Forums for disabilities, My mother is blind, in searching for a Braille keyboard, I found there was so many other adaptations I wasn't aware of (Like Braille stickers for keyboards), large type keyboards, a mouse with a grip handle, audio speech software....etc.

None of which I found via MSE, but only because the subject hasn't been brought up, if we included a thread section specifically for disabilities (on a wide scale), I'm sure it would prove fruitful.

The main bugbear mentioned on this thread seems to be display and layout, which could easily be incorporated within the belly of MSE, you could even have a little button, that users can click, to alter the format or layouts accordingly, leaving the core body of the MSE site unaffected to more able bodied MSErs.
