I'm trying to use everything up from my freezer, and cupboards. We have far too much food
So our menu is as follows...
Thursday: lentil and ham soup with bread rolls. Have extra mince from last night so will make little pasties if anyone's still hungry.
Friday: Quiche - rest of the ham from the soup, with beans.
Saturday: Cottage pie, from freezer
Sunday: Tomatoes Pasta
Monday: Moussaka(ish
)
Tuesday: Chicken Salsa Melt
Wednesday: TYO pizza
Have a good week everyone :j0 -

Sun: HM mini quiches (from last weeks batch), wedges, key lime pie which I made on Sat at DH's request- tis scrummy
Mon: Smoked gammon, [strike]pineapple[/strike], cabbage and[strike]lattice [/strike]potatoes, key lime pie as above
Tue: [strike]Stuffed pasta, tomato sauce, bread[/strike] Special rice (egg fried rice with leftover gammon, pineapple, shredded veg and a nice mild but spicy sauce)
Wed: Stew, potatoes and carrots with dumplings
Thu: Poached eggs on toast
Fri: Beef stroganoff and rice (leftover stew from Wed)
Sat: Macaroni cheese and chips
We pretty much have all we need for this so corresponding shopping list will be small.
Need to get some fish into next weeks plan- as you can see this week is veg/red meat/pink meat.

Hi bertiebots
You can plan your lunches & snacks too if you want
Some people do
I dont bother though because I usually just have toast for lunch when DS is at nursery / on weekends and when DS is home we have eggy bread / omelette / sandwiches which I decide on the day what I fancy doing. As we always have bread, eggs & cheese in already, lunches dont really effect my shopping, so there's no need to "plan" it IYSWIM ? HTH

good luck, everybody!"Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0
