Similar thing happened today.

Went to till with 3 - 17 items , one being the free lippy and was charged full price for other 2 items. Is that right? I thought I would only need to pay for one as its 3 for 2 but SA was being funny and was even complaining about the voucher for lippy.

Didnt buy anything in the end.

The only way I could get the free lippy was for the sa to void it off the bill and put it through 0.00. Other people have had the same problem so I didn't even bother trying the 3 for 1 thing.
I sorted out my Boots stash today ready for christmas. It took me hours.And after apportioning it out I still have a carrier bag leftover. And enough stuff for me family for about a year I should think. Still can't resist all the bargains.
Just need to buy presents for oh and 2 nephews, teenagers who I don't think would appreciate anything from Boots unfortunately. (hope that's not too much chat)

17 lippy worked twice for me but not since so threw print offs in the bin.
Wanted the nice metalic shadows & pencils for DD but not worth the hassle.

I used it no problems but I think it really depends on the sa I got the No 17 lipstick a Natural collection eyeshadow and a No 17 nail varnish. The voucher wouldn't scan so she put it in manually and it went through no bleeps, so I got lipstick free, eyeshadow free on 3 for 2 and only paid for the nail varnish.

Don't be put off try another sa if you feel brave enough. HTH:)

I know Drakehouse at CP and Meadowhall both have/had 17 products but no idea about minis.

The s/a was very helpful and did try to make it work she manually entered code for the 3 items one of course`was the lipstick but the till said no she tried 3 times what an angel, I felt embarrassed due to a very large q

I know it should work will have another try tomorrow
