Hi does anyone know what's in the Revlon GWP? I bought the 3 different colourways in the quad eyeshadows. Thanks SueB.:beer:0

I picked up some of the ruby and millie white make up bags today. They were reduced to £2.13 and they go through on 3 for 2. So £4.16 for 3 of them. Worthwhile looking out for them in your local if you didn't manage to get one with your pinky. HTH:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0

You know what this means don't you?
This time next year we'll be millionaires:p0 -
Thing is, the sale is a bit sneaky when it's only 50% off. The 3-4-2 doesn't work once the sale starts, you see, so the reductions aren't as good as you might think. Say you wanted three different sets at £25 each? Well, bfore Christmas you'd get them for £50 in total ie 33% off the total, after Christmas you'd be paying £37.50 ie 50% off the total, ie only 17% more of a reduction than buying the same sets on 3-4-2 before Christmas!!!
And if you went on and bought your three £20 sets on one of the special Christmas shopping nights, you'd get (or you did last year) 1000 points per £50 spent. So in essence, you're now only gaining 7% more by waiting for the sale rather than buying on a Christmas shopping night. Oh, and sometimes you get little freebies and samples on the Christmas shopping nights too.
And you'll get what you want rather than chance missing it. So my advice is to use your gift cards and vouchers for shopping at one of the bonus nights, then wait till the 75% off sale starts in the New Year and use your points for that.
Well said valkscot :T Also don't forget if you can't make one of the shopping nights instore boots.com had a couple of promotions running last year in the run up to christmas eg i placed an order when it was 2000 bonus points when you spend £100. Worth looking out for those if you will be spending that much.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

I found this pic below of the clinique breast cancer lipstick. This was from a U.S. site, but I suppose it looks the same (it has the exact same name)?
I was a bit annoyed to find that this lipstick is only $14 in the States AND of that price, $10 goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The ones sold here cost £12 (or nearly $22), and yet only £2 (about $3.67) goes to breast cancer charity! It's a bit stingy of Boots, isn't it? (Info about the Boots version of this lipstick is on page 54 of the new mag).
Edit: The U.S. site doesn't mention a carry case, so maybe you don't get that there. I think I'd rather not have the case, pay less overall, and have more than twice as much money go to charity, though!0
