Spend £50, and with some of the points codes about, you can get 1500pts back :)

I'm not sure about boots but my mum could use her tesco card over there!
If they do that would be great - more points for less money!

    Thanks for that chuck :)

I really should make my own, my freezer is full of lovely healthy homemade foods for the kids, I just never seem to find the time to have it myself  this is a case of [strike]laziness[/strike] convenience :rotfl:

In fact there's not much room in my 2 freezers  ...probably the hundreds of cubes of purees for DS made with my Annabel Karmel cube trays... from Boots ;)

To stop myself grabbing junk(apart from not having it in the house except for the stash for guests lol) I grab a handful of frozen berries out of the freezer the night before, then I do not want to waste them!

Like skibster says...choc is fine, vanilla ok too...rest are a bit odd to be honest! Although they are not a patch on homemade they were brill when I just had DS as I did not even have the energy to make a sandwich lol, so definately worth grabbing 6 for nutty days :)

    Hey all,

since I'm fairly new to bootsing, I just wanted to ask the more experienced among you, a q ;) I have been drooling over the xmas giftsets and its my birthday the beginning of Dec, so will be getting lots of boots vouchers hopefully, so wanted to ask is it worth waiting for the sales?
What I mean is, obviously its worth it to save money, but how much of the good stuff is actually left? And if you can't go the store on boxing day, have you got no chance? Just wondering whether to splurge my points now and vouchers in Dec, so that I get all the items I want. Also, I kinda figured that SAs would get the first pick of the gifts when they go down in price, so how likely is it I will get the stuff I want?

Sorry...just wondered how it all works :)

Thing is, the sale is a bit sneaky when it's only 50% off. The 3-4-2 doesn't work once the sale starts, you see, so the reductions aren't as good as you might think. Say you wanted three different sets at £25 each? Well, bfore Christmas you'd get them for £50 in total ie 33% off the total, after Christmas you'd be paying £37.50 ie 50% off the total, ie only 17% more of a reduction than buying the same sets on 3-4-2 before Christmas!!!

And if you went on and bought your three £25 sets on one of the special Christmas shopping nights, you'd get (or you did last year) 1000 points per £50 spent. So in essence, you're now only gaining 7% more by waiting for the sale rather than buying on a Christmas shopping night. Oh, and sometimes you get little freebies and samples on the Christmas shopping nights too.

And you'll get what you want rather than chance missing it. So my advice is to use your gift cards and vouchers for shopping at one of the bonus nights, then wait till the 75% off sale starts in the New Year and use your points for that.
    Val.
