The ultimate incentive to get debt free, can I do it by New Years?

Well, I wonder whether everyone's enjoying the sales or busy making money....
I did pop to the sales today after work but was very restained. Bought a few bits in Primark for my New Years Eve outfit but that was it.
Keep thinking about my 30 before 30 list. Might get cracking with that tomorrow as OH is at work and I need to avoid the shops.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
hi we hit the sales but not the exciting sales - the b&q sale
but at least we can finally get the flat finished in the next few months. Also reduced my o/draft yesterday which means i've achieved that challenge

I've avoided the sales well, but mum went this morning. I NEED some new work trousers, as I'm down to one pair, she picked me up a gorgeous pair in Miss Selfridge, a pair in M & S and 2 in Next, all 10s and none of them fit me! And I don't mean a bit uncomfy I mean no zip done up level of not fitting! So I've sent off a new member enquiry to David Lloyds (Gym) because this will not do! So new incentive, must make gym membership from STP monthly.
Flying over to Ireland tomorrow evening for a week. Not looking forward to the flight but the time with OH should be awesome. He's going to take me to Dublin to see penguins! We were looking forward to a bit of special alone time while I'm there, hard to get that when you live in a modern house with paper thin walls with 4 other people, and then my 'monthly' visitor arrived today after an 8 week absence, gutted doesn't begin to cover it! So gonna go do a lot of wholesome penguin watching instead!
Been really good, ebay 5p listing day today and tomorrow, have managed to finish off nearly 40 listings and relist a few things, fingers crossed my old and highly desirable tat will sell!
ps sorry if rambling or too much info, OH treated me to dinner again, and I had 5 cocktails and this makes me chatty! xDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Lol no not hoping for a baby, hoping for some alone time since we're always at my parents and it makes doing coupley things (ahem) difficult! My body has the best timing - only time in 6 months we've had a week off together to be romantic and going to have to stick to the old fashioned courting!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh Dinah, hope you enjoy your week away anyway. I love Dublin (mostly because of all the lovely shops but that's not very DFW).
Thanks for the heads up on 5p listing day- that one had passed me by so you have given me the motivation I needed to get listing. I'm going to have a good old clear out today- sort out stuff to eBay, charity shop and Freecycle. My house feels so cluttered after Christmas and the extra pennies are always good too!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Thanks for the heads up on the 5p listings

Trying to do more 5p listings before I fly today but hard to motivate when I've already done 40-odd. OH is being a cracker at listing the last of the books though. Some are worth a fair bit but I can't see them actually being bought. Supposed to have 3 mystery shopping jobs at the airport but I don't have notes for any of them because the website is down and no one has answered the phones since the 23rd.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I am going to OHs parents on monday, although wont be as nice as Dublin - the midlands :rotfl:
I know what you mean about the gym, i used to be a 10/12, now none of my 10s fit and i swear the 12s are getting too tight!!! Must get that sorted before i brave the bikini for holidays in July!!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
