Dinah bit of lurker on your post glad to see you doing well.
I have had ebay probelms latly with stroppy ebayer wanting items asap and another unhappy item not as described and threatening me neg feedback said return and will refund but buyer refuses as item in perfect as new condition with tags and trying to pull fast one!
Also im confused with relisting as dont think im always getting accredited so got £60 of fees to pay but still a neccessary evil im afraid as good income now carboots have stopped.

Never tried slice the pie not sure if I got patiance.
Im going to focus on bingo, cashback sites, competions, ebay and mystery shopping next year.

You think you will make your new year target?

  • Only about 5 hours for me, woo! I'm quite getting into this review writing lark actually, shame work gets in the way.

Aren't you an industrious pair, I'm impressed. Poor OH though being banished downstairs with your dad after he came early and surprised you. His own fault I guess :D

My boss has just come in asking if we're in tomorrow which we are, then she said to get away at 4 today but we don't know whether she meant go at 4 today and come back tomorrow or not come back til Jan?!?

Hi Gailey, nice to meet you:hello:

The next challenge will be a challenge in every sense, no doubt about it! Going to try matched betting once I'm debt free to kick start the savings. And maybe I'll be lucky and the etsy thing will kick off and make me a gazzillionaire:rolleyes:

I don't know what to do with ebay, i've had so much hassle for so little money recently it's tempting only to sell the higher value items there and just sell all the rest as a huge bulk lot, but then I think I've worked so hard so squeeze every penny, I need to persevere even in the face of their ridiculous seller bashing. Only doing it on free listings days though!

STP is very hard to push through, I gave up on it for months, but now I'm at 8p per track it's a fairly reliable payer and I can get £12-£15 a week without much hassle. Aiming for around £20 a week in Jan though. Really ought to get back to those surveys though, those are giving me the evil eye yet I know they are decent money.

I was planning to be so good.... then I got a call for an urgent MS job for tonight, £15 fee plus £15 reimbursement for 2 drinks and 2 basic pub meals, so I'm going there instead! Wouldn't have made £15 on STP but I would have done OH's pressie

Hope you have a good time tonight Dinah!

Went shopping today, bought Rich yet more presents *slaps wrist* I got him a copy of twilight and made a voucher that i slid into the front when redeemed he'll get a trip to the cinema to see it, with a big pick a mix and a meal of his choice afterwards. Might be costly because he can put a surprising amount away when he wants too. and some marked down DVDS from woolies.

STP is really good when you're on 3 stars, the money adds up so quickly but it's even abit of a drag now on 2 stars. I'm at about £12.22 after three days of it so I think my £40 target is in reach. I might be able to make abit more but I get bored of it so quickly. The music isn't really anything interesting at the moment.

Might give slice the pie a go if people doing well.
Ebay is harsh on sellers at the momnent and the fees are crazy now.
Matched betting looks bit complex for me.
I do surveys but is not big money usually 1-2quid a week but i guess £100 a year.
Im saving my survey points for vouchers to use next christmas.
really need to look into how to get into reveiws and mystery shops as have no idea and sounds fun.

Have a good night out dinah.

I find most of the surveys are £1-£2 each, I get on average 6 - 8 a day, of which I'm in the target group for approx 1/2, but I just never seem to get around to it.

STP is a slow but steady earner, a lot of people just aim to make £1 a day or something while doing something else. I couldn't just do it on its own, so much awful rap and r & b.

Meal was vile, food was such poor quality we couldn't eat it, it was cold, it smelt like pee, there was vomit in the loos, there were no Christmas menus so we had to ask, and the lad at the table behind us was talking about how he hired someone to stab 3 times the bloke his missus was sleeping with, and he had 3 other women naked in his room when the guy went round to stab him, and his little girl saw it but the guy was 'so hardcore' he did it anyway. Jeez how the other half live!?! Was so scared in there turned down the free dessert, and that is pretty much sacriledge in my book! And this is a chain pub in the centre of a small town!
