I'm hoping to be debt free by valentines day, although if i can do it by my birthday (feb 1st) that would be amazing. Or by the aniversary of my first LBM in mid Jan. See I have lots of possible targets to hit!

Or you could keep very hush hush until valentines day. Then show your OH balances to show you've cleared it and basically tell him to move it.

Payday for me tomorrow, phone contract goes out then too so I need to figure out how much i'll have left!

Nah he always knows how much I have would never work. I'm not planning on holding him to his promise to move over here, it'd be daft to and would just make him feel pressured and get worked up again. The only reason he has to move over here is if he gets a job, and there is no reason to think that'll be at the same time I get debt free.

This is going to sound like a very weird suggestion. But has he tried ladbrokes? My boyfriend spent the best part of this year looking for a job and it sempt like as soon as he applied for ladbrokes he was working there. They seem quite desperate for staff in some branches. It's worth a shot if he hasn't tried it!

Aye that's a good idea Cinny, a good friend of mine works on their management trainee programme, he seems to quite like it.
