You know what shocked me more than anything, the £5 interest. I've never gotten that kind of interest in a month, for doing nothing! I like this savings lark. :TDebt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Haha, £5 is good!
That's what's pushing me to get a savings account. I'm thinking a weekly set up of £10 a week then put whatever else I can spare by the end of the month in it?0 -
I think that's a good idea Cinny, if I take the money out at the start of the month I do not notice it, but if I wait until the end to see what is left somehow it's all gone!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Well OH is on his way over, so I'm all excited and nervous. Have done no work today really as I don't have much and I'm too nervous anyway! Passed the 20 5 star ratings on RiSi so I've requested another 30 swaps (have a huuuge wishlist!). Going to try to do a couple of Dooyoo reviews this afternoon, I spent ages doing a onepoll survey this morning only to get to the end and it to tell me it had closed!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Happy weekend all, hope you're having a nice time. OH arrived nice and safe, its amazing having him here, just feels so much better than not having him here! Spent today making a quiche and a chocolate cheesecake for the house-warming tonight. Quiche is looking good, cheesecake is looking somewhat gooey, hopefully in a good way not in a 'here is brown yogurt on crushed biscuits' way.
Had a cheque for £149 from the council sat waiting for me when I got home last night, I'm assuming its from overpayment on the council tax on the last house, rather than anything work related as that usually goes straight into the bank. So yey that's another chunk of cash I wasn't expecting to pay off the ISA for CC2. Also got my credit card statements through from both CC1 and CC3 so can look at those this week see what I can claim back.
OH just came out the shower so I better go, oh and he's waving to you all, smile at the wet naked Irishman!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
