Well I'll definitely be up for the eating bit! If walking is involved I'll be the one at the back moaning about needing Werthers sweets to keep me going! LOL!
And I'll be the one behind Birdie, asking if I can wait at the pub.
Poddle that is sickly about the little finger, I'm sat here with my parents watching Corrie and cringing!
I've never been too a Bettys Tea Room, I've been to something like a Betsys Coffee Room, no kidding! Was nice though. So Jealous, I'll have too mosey on down too Costa Coffee on the date and weep as I sit there alone with no MSEttes, most likely with OH but he doesn't count!0 -
The cake does sound good, so tempting! Only bad thing i had today was a m and s puff and that was only 30 calories. how long will this being good last i wonder0

Poor Cinny, being deprived of Betty's! The one farthest South is in Ilkley if you ever find yourself in that area! My Mum is a Betty's addict so I've been to all of them at one time or another; I even did my work experience there when I was 14! Free cakes for a fortnight, it was awesome!
I'll definitely have to forget the low-carb rule when we go, it'll be chocolate all over!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I told mum I was meeting some girls off my thread and where, and she said 'oooh Betty's, that's not very moneysaving, and terribly old fashioned, they'll all think you're really boring'! Gee, ta mummy! Tete suggested a tea room, and well, that's a nice one!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I've been to Betsys, which I can only guess is her sister or summink
I've been reading reviews of the hotel in Blackpool, sounds really good. Best get saving my 2ps! I might strike it lucky on the machines and come back a twopenceillionaire.
Ended up having a can on Pepsi with my tea tonight, I did so well all day! No M&Ms for me Friday *pout* Just noticed the time, best go get ready for 90210.
ETA: It's annoying when Mothers are right isn't it?
Just kidding, just kidding! You girls will have buckets of fun, be like a little Sex and the City type afternoon tea! Only you'll have to dress NIM up as Samantha, or whichever one no one else fancies being.0 -

She obviously hasn't read much of this thread then, it's all about the bookworming and the cakes!! Well, I don't think we're boring!
(says she who has just spent half an hour poring over her Dad's copy of a 1903 OS map of the area when she found it in a drawer, while he sat there amazed going "I didn't think you'd be so interested!"- I was working out which of the "inn"s I'd been in

Done a very stupid thing and lost my Vespa keys! Pa is going home as he forgot his lunch so he's going to have a look around for me, hope they get found otherwise I'm going to have to rely on lifts for the next two days at least.
Hope everyone has a nice MS day! Going to aim for a NSD but if I have to get the bus home that will be shot, off to see if I can get any cheap comedy club tickets for next week! (and bookmark them - then buy them on Friday. So not ruining my NSD!)0 -
I'm sure they'll be somewhere in the house Cinny, I went into a complete panic I had lost my car keys two years ago, had to get taxis to work, knew I had a big meeting I had to drive to on the Friday, so tore the house apart, no keys. While making dinner I found them in the freezer!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
