Birdie - me and OH definatly have the playful insults type of relationship, and play fighting. Although OH doesnt seem so keen on that anymore, think he forgets his own strength and ends up hurting me.
I cant imagine OH ever being romantic and mushy, but then i suppose thats quite good because that sort of stuff embarasses me!

Embarrassed me too at first, but it doesn't have to be public and whenever I'm feeling a bit down I can just pull a romantic NIM moment out of my head and it makes me feel a lot better. Which is almost better than the moment itself.

I'm sure you are a man my dear, I'm just saying OH is a super boy's boy. He has grown up with uber manly rugby men and only had brothers around him as a bairn. He forgets that I'm not a boy sometimes, even calling me 'Good lad' now and then! It is the curse of growing up in a rugby club, they're all the same!

It doesn't bother me now, I learnt from early on that I was one of the boys, even the boys invite me to come out with them all even if no other girls are there because I'm one of them...which is odd because I'm a girly girl! It does make me laugh when he realises what he's said mid-way and says 'Good ladssssssss'!

My Oh has his moments but generally he isn't too much of a romantic type. He did surprise me with roses on valentines day after getting a friend to give him a lift the 30 odd miles to where I was at uni. We weren't together at the time as well (we broke up for a couple of months). He did say he was going to buy a basket the other day too and take me on a picnic but i didn't respond very well so think he gave up on that idea!

LOL Wendz, you can't put them off when they try to impress you! Why would you not want to go on a picnic? I love them! Last time we went on one OH nearly got mauled by a swan, it was brilliant! For me anyway!
