You can't pair off all single English women with the Irish! For one, it'd empty your country! Two, there is about 16million more single British women than single Irish men so you'd have to give them 16 wives each...... hmmm, I think you have a cunning plan...

I think a lot of guys just don't 'get' romance. Romance to my OH is to keep me fed and warm and happy and safe. He isn't creative enough to make things or write notes, and he sadly doesn't see the point in flowers. I keep buying them for the flat but he hasn't got the hint that I like them yet! I appreciate it when he does do little things and see it as him being romantic, he'll never write poems or hire a barbershop quartet to sing a love song for me- he's a boys boy and these things just don't enter his boy brain! Bless him!
