they were pretty amazing definately worth a read! Hypno's thread is worth a look too she's still in debt but she's like a one woman debt reducing machine! lol.0

And 'missy'?! You sound like my grannie but I know for a fact you're younger than me!
Be nice or I won't share my granny toffees!
20k, blimey! The annoying thing is I bet you'll do it, or get pretty darn close  *mutters*
I think I'm going to set myself a saving goal. I think my wages are up for review at christmas so I'll have to wait until after new years to set it (will make a change from my 'learn how to knit!' resolution) that and actually opening a savings account..0 -
Agree with Purpleroses about Hypno's thread. It is amazingTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I've seen a bit of Hypno's but grief, hers moves so fast it makes my thread look slow and leisurely! Might brave trying to catch up later though.
Mmmm granny toffees, I love my sugar fix.
20k if coming solely from wages would mean I had 6.5k left for all my rent, petrol, insurance, medical, dentist, mobile, flights, social etc etc, which isn't doable, so going to have to make about an extra 1k per month from other sources.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Lol Just realised that that is my before tax wage, after tax I only get about £18,120, so less than I'm actually wanting to save!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Eek, bloody Gordon Brown eh? Just to reiterate what someone (?) said before about your sig- last time I looked you were only just under £8k, so well done!!! If you can save as fast as you're paying debt off I don't think £20k is too ambitious. I think you might need another book sale though!
I got your other email for Dooyoo and sort of half registered I think (ballsed the whole thing up twice in a row, not sure how) so I don't think you'll get my 50p after all. I have managed to navigate my way around the registration page now and have a profile so I've added you and Cinny to my circle of friends. Not done any reviews yet, am having a poke around and read of others first. They're soooo detailed some of them - I'll try my best to be comprehensive but I don't fancy writing whole essays...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hey Tete, I didn't want to write huge essays on a lot of things, so I'm sticking to my 'soapbox topics', ones I have strong opinions on so generally not products but debates, then the words just pour out of me! Make sure you rate the reviews you read, gives people money (and makes them feel validated!)
Do need another book sale, Grangetown was the best, I think they were mildly wary of the library and never went in it! South Bank by contrast just burnt their books before the sale!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Grangetown?! And you say Billingham scared you!!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Nah Grangetown is terrifying, but South Bank has a wall around it for a reason! It's like stepping into another world. Luckily work don't send me there much - not very many listed buildings needing to be protected! Last time I went there were 8 naked or semi naked bairns planing on a roundabout.
Lovely spam from Stanley6 there. God that really bugs me that they come to places like this to prey on innocent people looking for help.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Oh, South Bank sounds lovely!
Come back from dinner and lost all motivation, feeling quite sleepy! We only have decaf coffee in the kitchen, so looks like it's time for tea for me.0
