    Afternoon ladies!

Still talking monies I see! That ISA sounds good Tete, and good that it's fixed - I'm sure Martin (and Dinah) won't begrudge you a measly £107 from your overdraft :p seeing as you've got lots of lovely savings!

I like the dress, Birdie, but not as much as yesterday's! Think it's the blingy bit that puts me off a bit too, although I like the straps and the rest of it. Your shortlist is rapidly becoming a longlist - have you shown OH any of these yet?!

Weelll, the interview didn't go so well - I was just a bit babbly and made a few schoolboy errors so not feeling too optimistic. At least they'll put me out of my misery this afternoon or tomorrow though. Cinny, do you fancy opening a cupcake shop/brunch bar with me as an alternative? :D

I've been thinking about it for a while - there's hardly anywhere that does decent brunches! I know you can get a Full English fairly easily, but I'm talking about a place with a huge selection of fry ups, pancakes, smoked salmon, kedgeree, omelette etc which doesn't stop serving at 10.30am! Sorry, I get a little excited about food... And I was thinking it should also serve tea and cakes in the afternoon. I love my cupcakes and people are always saying I could sell them. There's a shop in Brighton that sells cupcakes for between £1.50-£3.00!

    Anyways...

Aw sorry to hear you babbled Poddle - I think they take nerves into account though so you never know. And with your stylish Asda dress on your side too...

I'd definitely visit that place, sounds amazing, I love Kedgeree! I'm hungry now!

I know! I'd love to work full time but at the same time I love my afternoons off, plus there isn't enough work for me and the other Office girl. OH is going to be working most Saturdays now though so I was thinking of getting a Saturday job, data inputting for a small company or something. Set me up next to a Radio and I'm happy enough.

Hi Poddle! Sorry the interview didn't go as well as you'd hoped, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Brunch Bar sounds great, there's a cafe in Ripon that does the best brunch and they serve it all day which is fab on a Sunday when you just can't get yourself together and in town before noon!

My dream of dreams is to have a dessert restaurant. Like a nice cafe with a mega cake selection during the day but gorgeous puddings and cocktails on a night time. I think there's a niche for it, so often I go to restaurants and either I really fancy a pudding but there's nothing nice on the menu or I'm too full at that point but an hour later I fancy some chocolate cake! My restaurant will solve those pudding dilemmas! But keep it quiet, I don't want my idea to get stolen and go global! Well, as long as it stays out of Ripon/Harrogate that'll be OK!

You could always leave the family business? :o

You could get yourself a nice little saturday job in a pretty boutiquey shop if you've got any around you, you may get a discount! ;)

Yep, you never know...maybe the 2 other peeps babbled more than me! Or farted in the interview!

BUT... I was going to say this a minute ago but I got distracted by food... remember I said I was going to try to reclaim the PPI on my Egg loan? Well, I sent the first template letter back last week and had standard reply saying they would look into my complaint. Then when I looked at my loan account online today (as payment comes out on 1st) the balance had been reduced by £1,665.32!:j Obviously I'd rather have cash in hand but definitely not complaining!

p.s Thanks Birdie! Mmm... dessert restaurant... GENIUS!:T

Oh, Go on then! As long as we can have freshly ground coffee (more for the smell than anything!) There's a soup cafe in the town where my Grandparents live, can't drive past that without feeling a tiny bit jealous.

Sorry to hear about the interview - like Tete said they take nerves into account, and if you were nervy you were most likely seeing things 10 times worse then they were, I'll keep my fingers crossed!
