I think she needs a KFC Family Feast!

I really like this dress, simple but blingy at the same time, purdy!

    haha, I think she might!!

It's a lovely dress, I'd save it on your maybe list if I were you! Unless they're all going on the maybe list.

Found a lovely cottage on right move only 70k! thing Northern Rock would give me a mortage? :D

I've just been compiling my maybe list and there are 11 dresses on there! I don't know how I'll whittle it down, especially as I'm finding new dresses every day!

I think you may need to bake a lot of cakes to get a mortgage!

They probably would Cinny! Sounds like a productive day, you're so intellectual going to lectures and getting out books about Churchill!! (And being excited that your library card has monkeys on it :p )

That dress is nice apart from the bit under the bust Birdie, I'm not too much of a fan of bling, I like froth and frill! I thought yesterday's model looked like Delta Goodrem but forgot to say.

Just been along to check my ISA, I got £282 interest for last year, which isn't too bad considering what my rate is now. Also popped quickly into Lloyds and picked up a leaflet which says that the 3% fixed rate is only for people who deposit £21k, not nine like I thought (like it says on the website). According to the leaflet you only get 2% for £9k. I'll go in tomorrow and check; if it's only 2% I don't think I'll bother moving, but if it's 3% I will. It means I'm only £107 short of the £9k, which won't put too much of a strain on my OD will it? :T

How many cakes are a lot?

You could just have a lot of dress changes Birdie! Just be like some kinds of awards show.

Crikey! I wish I had that kind of money to deposit!

What about this one from Martins weekly mail? 'Top Payer: The Barclays Golden ISA pays 3.61% AER, though 1% of this is a bonus that only lasts a year.' Copied and pasted as I'm lazy today. £282 for a years interest is good! :j and the £107 will be easily paid back.

That's what I thought! Going into the towns posh book shop and asking for lecture tickets clutching my oversized books! Only to come home, have a tin of beans for my quickie dinner while watching 'to buy or not to buy' before work.

ETA: Kicking myself over getting the Abbey ISA over the barclays one now. Ho-hum. Roll on next year I suppose!

I think you'd need at least one cupcake per person at the branch and then a box to send to the call center folk who the application gets sent up to!

I think my brain fried a little when you were talking about moving ISAs tete, what's this about the OD? I'm confused!

The only thing that makes me prefer the Lloyds one is that it's fixed, whereas the Barclays one might drop below 3%... Is To Buy or Not To Buy a house programme? I really envy you working part-time and being able to watch things like This Morning as you wish!

I need to deposit £9k to qualify for the 3% rate, otherwise it's only 1.5%, and I what I have in savings falls £107 short, which I would borrow from my Barclays OD facility which I still have. :o

Cupcakes I can do! Or I can stay with my parents and get fed on more than 7p noodles.

Yeah it is, the one where they get to 'try before they buy' I wish I could say it isn't fun working part time but I'd be fibbing! It's great, I don't get the morning tv (only a little on Wednesday as it's my 'errands' morning.) but I do get Channel Fours afternoon movies, and Paul O'Grady!

Just got my wage slip - Still on £4.50. Which is because I 'didn't turn 18 until Thursday' in which case, I should be paid £5 on the days I was 18 :D surely?! I tried arguing that with my Pa but I got told to shush.
