The family of tomato plants did do well. They were called Jordan, Peter, Harvey and Junior

LOL! Is she going to get a new one and call it Princess Tiami (or however you spell that daft name!)

10?! Christ Birdie what are you doing?

Still here afterall. Dad is pottering around somewhere so I have lots of minutes to shamelessly flick through MSE without closing it when people come in :D

Poor Birdie, but you did get a sleep in this morning in fairness! (You could always look for a DOTD, conspicuous by its absence!) I'm off in a min so see you girls tomorrow!

I shall pop on later to make sure you haven't fallen a sleep Birdie! And yes, get a DOTD (dress, not desk, or both if you like!) for me to get jealous about later. Off myself now, going to go bug my grandparents.

    Yay for Grannies! :j

I have pictures of Darcy (chosen that over Alan for the moment) will post them tomorrow as my cable is at work. Mulling over the INGdirect ISA too. Keep on thinking I should start on my credit rating, maybe, buy one thing a month on credit and pay it off straight away. Would that give me a better credit rating starting now, or wouldn't it make any difference. I need Dinah!

I think that it is a good idea to get a credit card now, just buy something small every month and set up a DD to pay it off in full every month. It will certainly help your credit rating if you do that! I know that when I was looking for a loan to buy my car there were a few companies who wouldn't come near me because I didn't have enough of a credit rating, my argument was 'How am I supposed to build up a credit rating if you won't give me credit?!'

hm, i'll have to look into some 0% interest CC and see what I can get. My sister got upset because 'you told me it wouldn't be a good idea for me to get a credit card' to which my dad replied 'yes, you' bless her! I was thinking something small, but I can't think of something I buy monthly, Apart from cat food!

It is silly though, i'd think someone with a smallcredit rating - on say one CC with a good account of savings would be a ideal person to give a loan to!

    How's work going?!

LOL Cinny. I had a good day, nice big order came in at the end of the day. Hopefully some brownie points for that tomorrow. My boss gave me his old mobile phone as he is upgrading. I don't like it much. At least I can trade in my old one for £20. Although stupidly looked at my boss' old one on mazuma and it's worth £105! Would love to sell it instead but he would definitely get the huff with me. Bummer.

We got this weird letter from this stationery company that says if we send them back some prices for comparison they'll send us a £10 voucher. Too good to be true do you reckon? Might try it and see as I am a freelancer so officially have a 'sole trader' company. I sell my details for around 30p these days on those cashback sites so I don't know what I'm worrying about!

My sweet Mum sent us some Euros to take to Paris yay! So now we won't be so broke. She sent it anonymously with 'Feed the children in Paris appeal 2009' written under a picture of my nephew with chocolate all over his face. Very cool, she doesn't really do those things very often, so super nice when they come.

Hope you all had a good day ladies. I'm so excited for you and your new bike Cinny. Is he super nice? Defo want pictures! And Birdie no DOTD???!

It is mad how these things work! Maybe you could use it when you pay for petrol for the Vespa? Look into getting one linked to a supermarket and you may get extra loyalty points for using it to pay for 'their' petrol?

And by the sounds of it your sister really doesn't need a CC, handbag addictions and plastic do not go well together, I know! LOL!

Work's OK, I work in a distribution center and normally I work in nice clean lady filled offices but I'm covering the systems position today which means sitting in a grubby little office on my own looking out a window into the warehouse and talking to warehouse men all day rather than having a nice gossip whilst doing my coffee exercises!
