The ultimate incentive to get debt free, can I do it by New Years?

Dorian is a nice name for a bike, I've called mine Alan! It isn't childish to name everything Tete, promise!
The Brook seat is getting on my nerves as it has no grip atm, I have to sit on the back edge or I slip down! I might be able to get a few pictures of it tonight if I get home before the sun sets (which is at about 7 now, right?)
Birdie - your friend sounds like my sister! Seems to think they can't float into London on a cloud of Chanel Perfume and instantly have an amazing flat, wear great clothes ect. Carrie must get paid £100 per word and comma the way she lives! That or have a secret sugar daddy never seen in the episodes..hmm..
ETA: My mum names everything too - her car is called Bookend, lord knows why.
Flower, hope you're feeling well, have fun with your family over!0 -

I bet that personal touch yields a bumper crop! I'm going to spend the evening in Dad's greenhouse now!
You've reminded me that I did name one of my cacti Susan last year but none of the others have names. Even my car doesn't, just Bluey!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Bluey is a nickname, in that case. And a cacti called Susan is perfect. All our cars have names, I tried to make OH feel included by calling his car Reggie, but it hasn't taken on yet!0

Alan?! I shall refrain
My bikes second name is Darcy (as in the dancer, if OH asks. Not the heart throb! *ahem*)0 -
I like naming things, our Pet Plant is called Fred! My little punto is called Porsche (I wanted an Italian name beginning with a P and OH didn't like Petra, I don't even know it that's Italian but it sounds exotic! You've got to say Porsche the posh way though- Por-Sha!). My Mum's car is called Posy, she'll say 'I'll pop round with Posy!' and I'll be thinking for ages, 'Who???'.
I like Darcy for the Pashley! Alan has a nice ring to it too though... I always really struggle to find the perfect name for things because I have to try them out first and see how they feel, then whittle it down to the perfect name choice... I'll be terrible naming a child!
I think I might send my friend the episode of SATC where Carrie realises that she's about $15k in debt, it might make her see that even on TV it isn't possible to live that life forever if you can't afford it!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Posy is a cute name for a car! My sisters old car was a punto - bright yellow and called Fanny (classy!
) My Dads Dodge is called Big Red, I call my brothers car Bianca and he has a classic mini called Timmy. It's just fun to name things that shouldn't be named!
Ohhh, 10 minutes until home time, I best get a move on. Still not adjusted to this hour thing.0 -
Half an hour for me, I haven't done much today I must admit, didn't have the heart to after my wasted journey this morning! Currently searching for a cheap package hol in the sun, even though I haven't booked out hotel in Paree yet ... I like Posy for a car too, though I think Bluey sort of suits it now. Or I say, "I'll pick you up in The Micra" rather than just the car. I have an old fashioned Micra and I think they're quite a cult in their own way, they're like a cartoon car, pootling about, I love him!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

The family of tomato plants did do well. They were called Jordan, Peter, Harvey and Junior :eek:0
