Farm guy still hasn't called NIM, even though he left a message. I think thats just rude (unless he got stuck under a tractor or something, then I'll let him off!)
 That is so rude! If I ever get high enough up/ own my own business I'll never do that to people, there's no need for it! Poor NIM, the job obviously wasn't right for him because who would want to work for a rude, inconsiderate boss?Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
That really was rude of Mr Farmer Man! To be fair, I wouldn't want to work for someone who doesn't have basic manners!
I've figured if I save £50 a week, then I'll have enough for my Pashley in 6 weeks! I have my Phone bill coming out on Saturday, so Sunday I'll move my £50 over. For the past few weeks I've been thinking I'll move money over at the end of the week, but as you're all aware I keep on spending it, so it clearly isn't working out too well! Using my free cinema ticket on Saturday to see Young Victoria, then me and OH will be going on a bike ride Sunday so fingerscrossed for a free weekend.0 -

Is it wrong I'm still quite hoping for the stuck-under-tractor scenario?!
Move your £50 on payday Cinny, so you never really have it so can't accidentally spend it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Here's hoping Cinny!
My weekend will be very expensive I fear, it is the Papercraft Extravaganza in Harrogate and I'm planning on 'enjoying myself' i.e. spending lots of money!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. My SiL makes me laugh when she goes swimming because she just puts her head down and swims in a straight line, if someone gets in her way she'll carry on and crash into them!
I hate people who do that! And people who do backstroke in a crowded pool making everyone have to dodge out of their way, it's really inconsiderate!
I agree with Birdie about the Farm Man, if this is how he treats people NIM wouldn't want to work for him anyway. He probably shoots trespassers too!
Six weeks is really achievable Cinny!! Not so long that you'd lose heart halfway through - go for it! :TWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Another one?! I was watching Harrogate on Relocation Relocation last night and it looks lovely, I keep meaning to pop in one weekend. I love that we're all talking about our plans for the weekend and it's only Tuesday morning!I think we're attempting Helvellyn again on Friday

I was thinking of moving the money on payday Dinah, but I need to get £50 out as it is, don't want to end up too low, with my monthly payments coming out (phone + dogs trust) I know I won't get overdrawn but I do worry - going to Abbey Friday afternoon to ask about a £50 overdraft or something. Just as a safety net, to stop me worrying!
Tete - You'll be able to do 100 a week easily! Couldn't you go in the morning before work to beat the crowds?0 -
Your pay is going up now though isn't it, so taking out the 2 x £50 will be slightly less of a worry than it would have been up till now. £50 overdraft sounds like a good idea.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ooh you go this weekend! Hadn't realised it was so close!! Woo for you! Not jealous at all!
I thought about swimming on a morning Cinny, pool opens at 7, but it takes me an hour to do about 40 lengths so I'd end up not arriving at work til about half nine. I could maybe arrange to do it once a week I guess and use my flexi... hmm...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
