LOL! I don't think I'm quite cut out for it, I just found a letter on my desk that OH gave me last week to send to our head office! It was hidden under lots of plastic wallets, offcuts of paper from the last card I made at work (shhh) and lots of post it pads, I keep 'losing' them, replacing them and then finding the lost ones! I really think I need a more organised desk!
Exciting stuff about the Pashley Cinny! You could be biking around with a picnic in the front basket by May! :TOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Hey Tete - Paris booked woop woop! Very good. We're staying in the Hotel Sunny - http://www.hotel-sunny.com/
Did I send you that link before? Becoming very forgetful recently . . . Anyway the rooms look ok and the price is right. I am so excited we will be arriving in Paris this day next week. Yipee! OMG you must be so excited too Dinah - leaving on the weekend, the place will be so quiet.
Cinny - yay about your pay rise, and your bike. My friend has a similar style in black, and I think the green is nicer. One thing to check is that it's not too heavy for you to lift.
Rote - hope your daughter is feeling better soon - that sounds pretty hardcore.
Things are good here, my cold is nearly gone and the weather is lovely. I'm off to Lancaster on Friday which is very exciting, to meet the tutor up there. It means I have to get the train at 5am though (harsh) and I'll get back to London about 10 in the evening. Then off to Paris next week to spend some of my non-existent money, LOL. Going well with the daily clicks and quidco, onepoll etc. but need a naughty wrist slapping on Quidco and matched betting. £10 a day challenge it is after I get back from Paris - or perhaps start off with £5 a day. I think my credit rating is bad, because I haven't ever had credit, rather than having loads of defaults. Is it a good idea to apply for a card to show that I can?
Have a great day everyone! x:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
I know what you mean Tete, all neatly printed with the red franking mark. I feel so sad admitting it
Birdie - A bottle of lemonade, some sandwiches and I'll be sorted! On the way home I was thinking 'ooh, i could ride that way on my bike!'
I feel bloody awful, would love to curl up and sleep all afternoon. I've been sneezing and sniffling all morning, my head feels full of cotton.0 -
I'm quite organised at work, just terrible at home, there's paper floating about all over the floor because I don't have a desk or anything in my room so it all gets dumped.
£440 is exactly what my car cost Cinny!!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

It's a bit like that at ours, we've got paperwork all over the place, OH even hides it in the kitchen drawers! I haven't had the will to sort it all out yet but I must do it soon! I'll add it to the to-do list!
Poor Cinny feeling bad! It looks like Lara's cold has travelled through the interweb to infect you!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
I'm so slow at typing, missed Lara's post - you did post that link before but I'm glad you did again - I presume the prices on the site are per room rather than per person? Not bad at all! You'll have to give me all your Paris tips as you seem to know it well. I def want to go up the ET and go in the Louvre and see Montmartre ... after that not sure!
Yes it might be worth getting a card and spending on it every month but paying it off every month, builds up your credit rrating so I understand. If it's low to start with they might only offer you a really high interest rate so you will have to pay it off every month!
We can be sad together Ciny, in amongst our window envelopes and paperclips! Hope you feel better soon!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I tell you what Birdie that'd drive me mental, my papers have a neat pile of 'to do' on my desk for things that need dealing with, or a filing cabinet where they get filed if I just need to store them. Anything shoved in a drawer clearly is not needed and would be immediately binned.
I agree, get a card, probably your bank is the easiest way since the rate is pretty much irrelevant, just spend say one tank of petrol on it a month, and pay it straight off when the statement comes.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Ugh, I've just been in the job centre for over an hour - it smells like cabbage and chavs! But at least they paid for my train ticket to an interview tomorrow, so saves me £22.70, so I shouldn't really complain...LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380

I've seen the Pashley girls, it's beautiful! Decided on the green over the black, £440! I think I'll be better at saving now it isn't just for the sake of it.
Exciting stuff! Sorry you feel poorly, maybe you're just overwhelmed by the gorgeousness and excitement of the new bike?As for the posh girls, sounds just like my sister. Skinny jeans, vest, big scarf + blazer, chanel bag looped over one arm and topshop bags scrunched under the other. Gotta love 'em!
Lol, surely there are supersize sunnies involved too...?LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
I'm skulking back. Made a post on a issue my parents have at the moment, but seems there isn't much to be done about it since she appears to want a magic cure and in fact she would need to take her head out the sand and do some research.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
